"Hotellet er beliggende tilbagetrukket fra trafikeret vej i rimelige rolige omgivelser. Man skal krydse vejen for at komme til havet. Umiddelbart overfor hotellet er der en lavastrand med fantastisk snorkel og surf muligheder. Man bliver budt velkommen af indehaveren, som er utrolig gæstfri og hjælpsom. Jeg havde Seaview værelset, som dog ikke havde så meget havudsigt, medmindre man stod op i den ene ende af terrassen. Værelset var lydt, så man kunne høre børn og voksne tale i værelset ved siden...

"A very sweet, well-kept stately old property that exudes then charm of old Hilo. Check in was easy- note there are some fairly steep stairs leading up to the front door, as well as stairs within the house. I was very comfortable in my efficiency room, and especially appreciated the water, condensation, and diamond bakery cream crackers which were a much needed snack during my Merrie Monarch adventures! A great location and a comfortable place to stay for any Hilo vacation. "

"Read the fantastic instructions on how to properly get there as it's not accurate on mapping software. Meow Meow the cat was there to greet us. What a quiet little gem of a place. The dehumidifier was better than an AC as temps remained cool at night but air temps were low. Beds were comfy with soft sheets. TP was premium and very welcome after staying other places with the cheap stuff. Only stayed one night but we're planning to go back and stay here again. Beautiful views and solid coffee....
