Situated in the first column of suites directly back from oceanfront, Whaler 707 delivers spectacular oceanviews that extend to Maui's neighboring island Lanai, in addition to gorgeous vistas of the lush West Maui Mountains. This luxurious 1BR/2BA 7th-floor suite boasts an expansive, fully renovated interior featuring gorgeous custom cabinetry, modern appliances, porcelain tile flooring, and brand new island style decor.

Nestled high above the palms, its spacious private lanai overlooks the soft sands of the world-renowned Kaanapali Beach as well as the resort's lush interior courtyard and pools offering the perfect tropical retreat to relax and unwind.

Enjoy all the advantages of a full modern kitchen featuring luxurious granite counters and top-of-the-line Subzero and Bosche appliances. Conveniently stocked with everything you will need during your stay, it is easy to prepare the perfect meal or refreshment. Dine at the airconditioned ensuite dining area or in the tranquil Maui outdoors on your large private lanai.

Sleep four guests comfortably in the spacious 900 sq ft interior outfitted with a California king-sized bed in the primary bedroom and a queen sofa sleeper in the living area. Enjoy two lavish bathrooms, each featuring a large granite vanity and an impressive tiled walk-in shower.

Nestled right in the heart of Kaanapali Beach, steps from soft sands and pristine waters, the Whaler boasts one of Maui’s best resort locations. This world-famous beach offers an abundance of shopping, dining, and activities right at your doorstep. Luaus, dinner cruises, snorkel trips, parasailing (summer only), whale watching (winter only), surf lessons, and more are only a short walk away.

We have been to Hawaii several times. My family all acknowledged that this has been our favorite stay. The room was desirable, the terrace was amazing, and a 90 second walk to the beach was amazing. We hope to return soon.

The property was great! Unfortunately, we arrived ~12 hrs before the 2023 Lahaina fires. We were forced to evacuate the property early. However, the property owner did refund a portion of our costs...which was greatly appreciated.

My husband and I stayed here for our Anniversary and we really can’t say enough good things about it. The Whaler is a fantastic property! The location is exceptional for access to all that Kaanapali Beach has to offer. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The pool was very nice. This condo itself had amazing views of the beach and inland which was a huge bonus…so beautiful! Inside the condo, we had everything we needed and then some! Two beautiful bathrooms and a fantastic kitchen! The living space was plenty big for 2 or a small family. And the bedroom was a nice comfortable space. This trip and the condo was a great way to celebrate a milestone anniversary!

The Condo was exactly as described - beautiful, clean and spacious! We enjoyed spending our evenings on the large lanai. The kitchen is awesome - which we used a fair bit. The location is perfect - ABC store just a short walk away. The view is incredible - ocean on one side and mountains on the other. This is our 4th stay in Maui and definitely the best condo we have stayed in. Highly recommended!

“Stunning” was the first word out of my mouth when we arrived! This condo is Beautifully decorated with obvious attention to detail. For example, the mirrored wall in the living room allows you to see the ocean when you’re not actually looking out the window or on the lanai. The entire unit is updated. On the lanai, there is a lovely high-top table & chairs set which allows you to enjoy the view without looking through the balcony bars. We ate breakfast out there every morning & watched the whales! The condo is really set for you to have a great trip. The closet is stocked with beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, and even mosquito repellent. There is a TV in both the family room & bedroom with clear directions on how to operate the remote! The kitchen is also fully stocked with every appliance you can think of plus coffee & tea, dishwasher & laundry soap. An added bonus was the binder of information about the unit and The Whaler plus a list of restaurants and comments! Stacked washer/dryer in the master bedroom which we did not use. We already knew the location was great from previous trips & enjoyed walking the path as far as we could go plus easy access to the nearest village and Black Rock for snorkeling. Saw several turtles there! Hope to return in 2024! :-)

This is a beautiful condo with everything needed for a fantastic stay. Here you can spoil yourselves in luxury. The location is great. We watched Humpback Whales breaching sunrise to sunset from our balcony. It was a wonderful experience!

From start to finish our stay at this property and it's location are second to none. Condo was clean and accommodating for all needs of a temporary resident. Owners and guests are lucky to be able to have this property to enjoy. In our experience we noticed that there was a nice community amongst those who were present on the property in our week-long stay. From entering the gate, checking in and settling into the condo we felt very welcomed by not only the staff but residents as well. The condo itself was spacious, clean, and comes with spectacular views from the lanai. The convenience of two bathrooms was also a plus 😉. We loved the convenience of the elevator system that allowed us to transport items such as food, luggage etc. straight from the garage parking area to our room via shopping cart which we took full advantage of. There is a laundry area in the condo itself and also free laundry near the elevators as well which also makes it convenient. There was ample storage in the condo for clothes and other items. Finally, whether driving or walking there are plenty of attractions in this area to see and this location is convenient to go shopping or sight-seeing. Would definitely want to stay here again. This unit has everything! Best equipped kitchen in any VRBO unit we’ve ever seen. Plenty of towels, books to read, puzzles, chairs and umbrella and DVRs allowed us to watch sports at a convenient time. We will be back.

Have stayed at at least 6 other units at the Whaler and this one is definitely one of our favs! Loved the location and just the right items included (Keurig, pots, pans, cutting boards, food wrap/foil etc to make light cooking very easy! Lovely all around!

Thank you, Doug, for hosting us in your wonderful unit! My husband and I had an incredible stay. The unit was clean, spacious, and had a phenomenal view of the ocean. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony every morning while utilizing the kitchen, which had every appliance you could need (and even provided coffee!), and enjoyed having two full bathrooms! The closet by the entrance had beach chairs, an umbrella (just be carefully on windy days, as it doesn’t have an anchor for the sand), a small cooler, and more! I also cannot overstate the value of having in-unit laundry on a beach vacation. Finally, the location right next to Whaler’s Villages makes the beach, restaurants, and shopping all a short walk away. We would absolutely stay here again. Thanks again for everything!
