I was wandering around Hatton region near my home and walked along the tea plantations without having any idea where I'm going. Finally, I ended up here with a breath-taking view of the Castlereagh Reservoir. Don't be afraid to beat the path. #LoveMyTown

Tea factories are not rare in the up country of Sri Lanka. If you are traveling with the train it's bit unlucky that you will be unable to have a look inside about the process of tea manufacturing. Sri Lanka is a leading tea manufacturing countries in the world as well. You might have heard about Ceylon tea or even tasted it.
Christ Church Warleigh was built in 1878. The Bible in use is the same Bible that was brought in, in 1879. The Church, the furniture, the Bible, the pipe organ, everything is beautifully maintained and still used. Visitors can see the church everyday from 8am - 4pm. There is a caretaker who knows a lot about the history of this quaint church. So don't be shy to ask him.

Great welcome from very friendly and professional staff. This hotel is amazing and gave us the best stay in Hatton. Beautiful location, great staff and quiet area. In addition great food and pool area. Nice Walks and hikes in the stunning tea fields
