"The location was incredible and the staff were friendly and incredibly accomodating. A chair in my room needed to be replaced and the TV was not fully installed yet, but neither of those things detracted from the experience in any meaningful way. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Placencia."

We left the other place after one night and found Alux. What a gem! It is in the heart of the village. Everything is walkable, with lots of options for food, shopping and fun. "The apartment is excellently located in Placencia. The owners who live above do a great job communicating. They have bikes available that got us down the town to the local beach. Lots of restaurants around and a store across the street. An extra bonus was use of the laundry downstairs. "This is a beautiful, clean property very close to the sidewalk in Placencia. The hosts were GREAT, check in was a breeze and the AC was cold!! They have a small but deep pool on top of it all!! I highly recommend Driftwood Gardens and will definitely stay again. "
