Perched high in the rolling hills of Nidderdale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Edge Farm is a breathtaking rural retreat designed for family gatherings, celebrations, and group getaways. Sleeping up to 14 guests across six spacious bedrooms, this beautifully restored farmhouse combines traditional charm with modern comforts, offering an unforgettable stay in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.



Step inside and you’ll find a home full of character - exposed beams, stone walls, and cosy interiors that instantly make you feel at home.



The large living areas provide plenty of space for everyone to relax together, whether you’re unwinding by the roaring open fire, enjoying a film night in the snug lounge, or challenging each other to a game of snooker in the games room.



The heart of the house is the farmhouse kitchen, fully equipped for group dining with an electric ceramic induction hob inset into the worktop, along with a whole host of additional modern appliances, and a generous dining table where memories are made over hearty meals. Bright and welcoming, it’s the perfect space to come together after a day exploring the surrounding countryside.



Six comfortable bedrooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements, ideal for families and groups. With high-quality furnishings, soft linens, and beautiful views of the Yorkshire hills, each bedroom promises a restful night’s sleep. The attic bedroom offers character, with its sloped ceilings - watch your heads!



Three ensuites and one family bathroom ensure convenience for larger parties.

Edge Farm is set three miles from the peaceful village of Lofthouse, right in the heart of Nidderdale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Surrounded by rolling hills, reservoirs, and heather moorland, it’s the perfect base for walkers, cyclists, and anyone looking to unwind in the countryside.



Lofthouse itself has a welcoming atmosphere, with a traditional pub serving delicious food (The Crown) and easy access to local walking trails, including the Nidderdale Way. Nearby highlights include How Stean Gorge - with caves, via ferrata, and outdoor adventures - and the tranquil Gouthwaite Reservoir, a haven for birdwatchers.



A short drive takes you to charming market towns such as Pateley Bridge, famous for its independent shops and the “oldest sweet shop in England,” and Masham, known for its breweries and historic market square. Getting Around:

The nearest train stations to Edge Farm are Knaresborough Station and Harrogate Station, with Knaresborough being slightly closer and both situated on the scenic Harrogate Line with regular Northern Rail services to Leeds and York.



One bus route operates in Lofthouse. Hop on the 821 to visit Keighley, Otley and Shipley.
