"The Yorkshire countryside offers beauty and history around every corner, so staying in the midst of it all was top of my list for a recent stay. This lovely converted barn didn’t disappoint. The setting on a gorgeous estate, was a dream to wake up to, complete with the two labs Murphy and Callie visiting for treats. So much to see in such short distances from our base made the vacation one to remember. I’ll definitely be back"

"Yates Cottage is set in an idyllically beautiful location, is spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped, tastefully decorated and has comfortable beds. Our hosts, Andy and Sue were gracious, sociable and fun to engage with. The welcome basket of goodies was 5-star. We definitely enjoyed our stay!"

"Overall the property was ok but in need of decoration and updating. The shower pressure was pitiful and took over 40 minutes to have the showers we did but never felt really clean as didnt feel it washed off shower gel or shampoo"

"We really enjoyed ourselves - the house looked lovely and was very good to spend time in - comfortable in all respects and everything worked very well - extremely well equipped, also. The position in Bewerley, five minutes walk up the hill from Pateley Bridge with all its (many!) amenities was a real bonus - it was great not needing to use the car for every single journey. "We stayed a month this summer (2024) at Bankside Cottage to really get immersed in the Yorkshire Dales lifestyle. The cool climate was a perfect summer relief from our home in hot and humid Florida. The village of Hampsthwaite was the perfect distance outside of busy Harrogate. Very peaceful with friendly and helpful locals, a good pub, cafe and convenience store. Ten minutes into Harrogate and we had all the major grocery chains to choose from. As well as numerous great restaurants. There were...
