"We stayed for two nights during homecoming for SUNY Canton. It was a girls trip to see our freshman play volleyball and Susan went above and beyond to make our stay both comfortable and memorable. The home is charming, clean and comfortable. We had farm fresh eggs from the host’s very own chickens. The host left us everything we needed to make eggs on English muffins. "We loved our stay on Trout Lake! Check in was easy and as described. The kitchen was well-stocked and nicely set up for meal prep for our group of 7. We enjoyed the bi-level deck with a large table and chairs for 6 on both levels. The inside common area was plenty spacious for the one rainy day we needed to be indoors. "Wonderful camp on Star Lake. The camp/house has plenty of room and all the amenities that you will ever need. The decor is perfect. The grandkids had a blast playing on the sandbar and exploring the lake on the kayaks. The hosts were super and responded to my inquire immediately. An incredible, unforgettable family vacation with our kids, grandkids and sister from Florida!! Thank you! "

"My brother and I, along a couple of friends stayed at this home - a remarkable restoration of a beautiful, historic building. We grew up spending summers on the Indian River, fishing, swimming and spending time with neighbors. We were able to do the same 30 years later, reconnecting with old friends and neighbors along the river.
