There is a lot of overgrown vegetation around the property line and driveway. But the apartment itself was very sweet, very nice. I’d like to stay here again sometime.

Anniversary

A very cozy stay
We have been there before and really like the location and coziness of the chateau. the view is wonderful and we enjoy being able to sit on the patio for breakfast and lunch to see and hear the river.

Very cozy
This place was very cozy. I would stay again. I would suggest that there would be fewer nick nacks around to make cleaning easier. We loved the terrace and the location of the property. We used the kitchenette, but had to purchase a frying pan and sharp knife to cut with. Owner was easy to communicate with and wanted to make our stay comfortable.

I didn't actually stay in the property, as it was a wedding gift for newlywed friends of mine, but they were thrilled with the accommodations and want to go back. Thank you for helping make their stay so enjoyable.

Victorian charmer
So charming, quaint and unique. The decorations are so interesting and authentic to the period of the house. Very peaceful and soothing and the beds and bedding are very comfortable. The house is fully equipped with most everything that a person could need. If I had one suggestion, it would be to provide coffee and soap. We did have to use the hand washing soap to bathe with. I would definitely love to go back for a return visit.

Very nice!
We enjoyed our stay very much! It is just a few blocks from the downtown historical district and across the street from river access. It was perfect for our family getaway!

Charming!
This was the most peaceful weekend in this charming chateau. The owners are very nice people. The property was very clean and the furniture was comfortable. All the comforts of home including a fabulous jacuzzi tub. It’s definitely going to be my new escape place!

The location and view of the river is amazing, all day we could hear the rapids and it was so relaxing. The apartment was extremely homey and comfortable. Could not have been more pleased. Amanda and her staff did everything just right.

Great, it made you feel pampered!
Great weekend! Nice quaint Chalet with unique Victorian decorative touches. Didn’t get to meet Ms. Amanda for her family was out of town, but even out of town she took care of all needs that arose! And thanks for the bottle of wine!
