"Nice solid bach with some amazing views in a great part of Hanmer. 4 proper bedrooms with tons of beds, and extra couches for kids who like to shift in the night! Bedrooms are all on ground floor with a bathroom, living/dining room on first level with deck and a loft above living room. Loft ladder is a vertical ladder on wall with no sides and loft has no way to lock it or secure so active supervision of young kids required. Flooring has no insulation so any light sleepers will hear every...

"Excellent place to stay. Only reason why I didn't give it a 5 Star review was because we had to bring our own linen and bath towels. Also no body wash or shampoo was provided. Apart from that everything was pretty top notch."

Only a five minute stroll into the main eateries, shopping and thermal pools. Fabulous hosts and accommodation we couldn’t fault! Would absolutely love to stay at the Oakview again next time we visit Hanmer Springs. "

"The place is clearly in a dilapidated state. It need a lot of work to get it back to its 60-70s glory as nothing has apparently changes since then. A lot. Don't let the photos cheat you, this is a low-cost motel in the "everyone who once cared has left" category."
