"The host was extremely attentive to any questions or needs. Excellent and immediate communication. Good, quiet location between Islip airport and Port Jefferson. The size of the unit was very adequate for two people. Bathroom was clean and adequately stocked with towels and wash cloths.The reason for 2 stars is we thought the apartment was not very clean from floor to ceiling. This apartment has huge potential to be very cute. In my option, it needs an entire over haul."

"House is super cute. Much smaller than it looked, but comfy. No heat in the bathroom, which was super cold when taking a shower. Host was pleasant and easily reached. Could benefit from more instructions on things like locking the door keypad or what trash needs to be recycled. Would stay there again "

"Very friendly host. Lovely place with everything needed for a wonderful stay. Because it was April not a lot of restaurants or shops open but the Chamber of Commerce website had a listing of all the open places. Very comfy bed. Will stay here again if we get back to Block Island. "

"My husband and I, along with our Golden, were on LI for three weeks. We spent our last seven days in this super clean updated apartment. It had everything we needed. The fenced yard was an extra perk, although we didn't get to truly utilize it due to weather and other activities. It's as inviting as the photos though. The dog, however, spent some time out there and loved it. We stayed in the bedroom right off the living room and it was comfy. Anderson is a terrific host. He's helpful and easy...

"I had a great stay. The proximity to the beach is fantastic and I love that the beach is only accessible by people renting or living in the neighborhood. I was looking for a quiet getaway and I got just that. The bed was great as was the AC. Communication with owners was fantastic. I will be going back. On a personal note, the house could use some curb appeal. "

"Adam, the owner was very responsive until we got there, and then decided not to stay because the room was really smaller than we imagined. There is barely enough room to get around the bed. I had asked, if possible, for some sort of a partial refund, but haven't heard anything back as of yet. The room was clean and in well-kept condition, but not nearly as comfortable as the pictures depict. Anyway, it was an expensive lesson for my further travels using VRBO as I would only consider a place...

"So close to a peaceful lovely beach. Walking distance to food and even a synagogue!The bed was very comfortable and big. I enjoyed having coffee in my room before heading out to the beach. "

"Room was clean, beach view from kitchen and bedroom windows. Super close to many cute cafés and restaurants. Highly recommend Hangry Goose. Awesome food and allergy friendly. "
