"Contactless check-in as we arrived on the ferry after 10pm local. Room was clean and all linen and towels were staged. I am sure this is nothing new for their staff but including total number in the party at time of booking probably helped. "

"Great location. Ocean access and views. We saw dolphins daily. Home was clean and comfortable. Young adults loved the pool table and hot tub. Everything was close and easy to access. Highly recommend this property for a beach vacation regardless of age."

The covered 2nd floor patio facing the beach became our favorite--sunrise coffee was a highlight! One very minor hiccup: the pickleball net was broken. The abundance of games & puzzles...

"We had the beach as our backyard and it couldn’t have been any better. We loved our stay at the Mermaid’s Lair and hope to be back! "

"A perfect location and property for our group of fishermen who came to fish the Virginia Beach Billfish Tournament. The property is conveniently located to the beach and the marinas as well as some good dining options nearby."

"It was a very relaxing trip on the beach. Our first time in Rodan ir we liked the small town feel. Our hosts were very helpful"

"We had plenty of space for our family, and Lori was quick to respond when the internet went out. (It came back.) The house is on the market so I assume some updates to the kitchen cabinets may be coming soon, but everything worked fine. Great view and beach access. Very relaxing, and my husband especially appreciated the elevator."
