"This is our first time at this resort hotel and so happy we chose to stay here. My husband and I loved the bed and the pillows. The room is very clean, spacious and has nice high ceiling. It is close to Busch Gardens which is just 20 minutes away and half a hour to the beach. We rate this10/10 and we will definitely stay here again. "

"My husband and I spent a few nights here for our 10 year anniversary. The resort was great. We enjoyed being able to walk to everything we needed, the dining options, and the pool behind the spa. The river pool was a bit too crowded with children for us so we stayed away from that. The Mill was a great place for breakfast and lunch, and we enjoyed dinner at The James River Grille twice. "Property on outside was beautiful. On inside was very nice. When you first walk in, carpet looked worn and it did not smell very fresh. Some paint on walls was chipped off. Master bathroom sink drains pretty slow. These are not deal breakers for us but giving you feedback. We will be back and would recommend others. It was a nice time."

"Very nice property with mini golf, swimming pool, ping pong, corn hole, and weight room. I didn't like the resort fee of $20.00 per day. That was a surprise when i checked out. Also buildings on property that are very unkept and run down. Trees growing out of spouting and roof. Definitely an eyesore. Also, only continental breakfast, not hot food."

"This was my wife and myself 6th trip to Williamsburg. Previous 5 trips were with family and stayed at one the resorts outside of the park. This trip was just the two of us and stayed in the Chiswell-Bucktrout. Nicely modernized with a comfy queen bed/private bath with the ambience of an earlier time. Loved our stay. "
