"The Casita is beautiful! Just as described and pictured. The house was very clean. It was well appointed with everything we needed. I reached out to Taylor because it seemed like the air conditioning units were not working…and they had someone come out that day to look at them and fix it! Very quick and easy communication. We also loved using the bikes to get to the beach… and there were two beach chairs available too! We would definitely stay at the Casita again!"

"We have stayed here many times, so it has become a home away from home. We have family in the area, and love staying here! The location in historic Yorktown is perfect. We can walk to the shops and restaurants, and the battle fields. We love going to Mobjack Coffee Roasters. The cottage is always clean, and the owners are very responsive to any questions. "

"I stayed at this cottage at the end of May 2025 with my spouse, parents, and dog. It was a great vacation! The cottage had ample parking (3 spaces available), and all the basics needed. The cottage is 5 minute walk from the beach, and just be mindful that you have to take a staircase over the dunes in order to actually access the beach, so if you bring a lot of umbrellas and chairs and things you'll probably need to make a couple trips. "I rented this cottage for a long weekend in Norfolk to visit with my family, who live down in that area. It was a great weekend. The house was really nice, Clean and comfortable, although outside left a little to be desired. The back was full of leaf droppings from the many trees, but once we swept it up, it was better.
