"Amazing getaway to focus on writing."

"The host was attentive to our request before arrival, and again on the first day. The home is beautifully furnished and decorated. It feels like a museum of fine art. The upstairs bathroom with shower is really nice. There is a powder room downstairs. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is fantastic and has everything you need, and more! Easy walking distance to downtown. It's a great location. We highly recommend this VRBO home. Thank you very much! It's a treasure!"

"My husband and I went for a short trip. The communication was great and the house was perfect! We spent most of our time in the hot tub checking out the amazing view."

"With bedrooms and sitting rooms on 3 floors, our 3-generation family enjoyed having space to gather together as well as space for time apart. The decks allowed for additional places to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Lake access was great for swimming and kayaking."

"The property was absolutely beautiful. The view of the lake was so pretty. Communication with the host was wonderful very informative. Very cozy and the house was beautiful inside."

Notes: (1) there are two rentals with the same address, a house and this carriage house out back. I had a mildly embarrassing moment when I showed up and tried to enter the wrong house....

"What can we say? The cottage was quite charming, cozy and delightful. Well-appointed with just the proper touches. The thoughtful information provided with a nicely stocked kitchen, easy to work TV, comfy couch to nap on, it had it all. The perfect size and place for couple to stay comfortably for a getaway. The cottage exceeded our expectations upon our arrival, out shining the pictures on the website. Aspen Hill Cottage is the perfect destination in a beautiful area, to stay, relax,...

"Perfect location! We love to walk everywhere we can and explore and from the house you can get to lower town Harpers Ferry and all the little restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops along the way. The recommendations provided were all great and Snallygasters across the street, Rabbit Hole, Bolivar Bread Bakery, and Epigram Coffee (don’t forget the pastries) were all amazing. Harpers Ferry is just an overall friendly town and even more pet friendly everywhere!! House was all we needed for a nice...
