"This is a well designed and meticulously maintained property. We were there for an epic multi-day snowstorm. The roads to and from the property were well plowed each morning and the spacious driveway plowed every day. While we had a rental van, it is close to a shuttle stop and several restaurants can be walked to in about 5 minutes."

"We stayed here as part of a longer trip in Japan for our honeymoon. Chika was excellent at communicating before we arrived and was so friendly and welcoming. Great location in Echoland, 5 minute walk to the main street and lots of shuttle stops for ski resorts within 5 mins or less walk. Discount on rentals and lift tickets was great. We stayed in the adjacent log building which was beautiful and had a great kitchen and shared living area with a fire. Room itself was lovely, really cosy and warm...

"This hotel is a giant log house, situated in a beautiful street of similar buildings. Nothing beats waking up to fresh snow falling outside your window (massive glass windows) and sipping on a hot cup of tea. The room was very cosy and comfortable! I had the best sleeps here. After a hard day of snow boarding, coming back to just sit in front of the fire, watch the snow fall, have a bath or have drinks with friends in the common area was absolutely amazing!! Wish I never had to leave! 10/10!!!! "

"A beautiful tucked away spot in Hakuba! The surrounding forest was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main resorts. About 15min walk to Goryu or they can take you in the shuttle. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and accommodated for, also a lovely spot focusing around keeping your dogs happy and taken care of. Spacious cabin feel and a decent restaurant with some nice options :) I would recommend this to anyone visiting in the winter or summer"
