"We paid approx. $115 for 1 night which was way too much for this place. The staff is really nice but the room was not. Room smelt moldy and the carpet was really dirty.. A small dark room. Furthermore the location is in the middle of nowhere. Very bumpy road to get there. We had to push the car at one point. A landrover would do the job though.. "I can't say enough good things about Kaswende Farm. The owner was the most remarkable host I've ever met. He arranged for a pick-up for me and treated me like family on my arrival. It was my first day in Tanzania and in fact in Africa, and he did a remarkable job at getting me up to speed with what to be aware of while travelling through the country. "The Hotel is VERY clean - The Staff is VERY friendly - The Manager Boaz is super professional, and the food in their restaurant is so good, I asked the chefs how I could learn and try to make their dishes at home...
