"Vi læste om hotellet inden vi ankom til Tropea, men valgte ikke at booke noget på forhånd. Vi gik forbi for at se på faciliteterne og Rocco bød os velkommen på trappen. Kort efter havde vi hilst på nærmest hele personalet og blev vist rundt både i poolområdet, morgenmadsområdet og så et værelse. Vi bookede en nat til at starte med, men endte med at bo der fire nætter med ønsket om flere. Fantastisk imødekommende, smilende og søde medarbejdere hele vejen rundt. "We slept two nights at the hotel. The first night we slept in a room with mould around the ventilation (we noticed it in the morning) which left us feeling sick and with headache the day after. Moreover, there were noises coming from the building almost every minuts the whole day and night. We got a new room at the second day, but the noises were the same. The pool area was nice, but both toilets were without toilet paper and the guy fixing the garden used his machines several times and made...

"Beautiful and tranquil small hotel. Rossella was extremely helpful and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was good. The hotel has many stairs, so it may not be a good choice for people with mobility issues. The location was perfect "

"Mitten im Zentrum von Tropea und doch ruhig (Ende September) Unser Zimmer war sehr groß mit Jacuzzi Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse mit Blick zum Stromboli. Die beiden Damen sind ebenfalls sehr freudlich. Saverio hat eine sehr freundliche Art. Man fühlt sich sofort sehr wohl. Er hat viele Tipps für gute Lokale. Zum Stadtstrand nur ein kurzer Treppenabstieg. Von Il Barone werden kostenfrei Strandtücher zur Verfügung gestellt.Das Wasser ist traumhaft klar."

"La struttura è pulita e accogliente e il personale molto gentile e disponibile. Piscina o giardino puliti, colazione abbondante e ottima cucina a cena! È vicino alla stazione del treno che collega direttamente con Tropea e altre località. La spiaggia di Scalea e di Riaci sono raggiungibili a piedi."

"The room is superb. But have tiny issues, like the tv didn’t work well, the shower is nice but the spray shower hear that you can hold didn’t work. We didn’t use the sauna because it’s hot season."

"The modern rooms are short walk to town center, we had parked just outside the property and walked everywhere, there is plenty of information in the room about places to visit, eat and drink. Also we were given chips to exchange in a number of cafes nearby for breakfast (coffee and croissant), as it was included in the stay. Very happy with the room, would recommend it."

"It is an old convent, still partially in use? Right on the water, awesome, rustic for sure. Dont expect hotel chain experience, this stay is about the awesome staff, great locationnand quiet , clean place. Very unique."

"The property had great facility’s , very relaxing sauna ,and spa , breakfast menu had a wide range of pastries , fresh fruit and coffee to order , the Owner really worked hard to make our stay comfortable , spoke fluent English and very helpful with information regarding the area. Highly recommend Mina accomodation "

"Great location vs the old city center, beach and railway station. Nice and clean hotel. Two improvement areas; internet is not very good (male receptionist meant since it worked in the reception area is was ok all over the hotel, they also told there where only one router in the hotel and since I was the only one telling them there was no problem - then after 2 days there where some guys fixing the router outside my room… honesty is always the best answer). Another issue was that the gym was not free - first time I have experienced to have to pay for it - no info on the website about this!"
