However, this time we were looking forward to bringing the kids to the pool, only to find that there was a massive swim lesson taking over the whole pool. Had we been notified by the front desk when we checked in that there was a swim lesson going on, we could have changed the timing of our plans. "The rooms were not soundproof at all. I was woken up all night by kids running in the hallways, doors slamming shut, the person in the next room snoring, etc. The hotel is pretty dated with broken tiles in the hallway by the elevator, old carpet. There was an unpleasant odor in the room, and I had to open the window and run the fan for an hour before it dissipated. Breakfast was very basic, and the juice machine was out of order.
