"I took my husband and my two teens to Rio Mar. We loved the staff, the food was great especially at Iguanas. The rooms were beautiful and our view of the rainforest was gorgeous. We will definitely be back. I want give special kudos to Ana at the reception. She was always available to answer every question we had and was super hospitable. Also our waitress Leeza at the breakfast buffet. She gave us so many great suggestions, and was so attractive. We are looking forward to coming back. "

"Hotel is quite secluded and you would need a car to go to Fajardo city. Room was very clean, but the hotel in general looked like it had seen better days. Food options not very good. Did not seem to be fresh made and seemed like they did not use local produce, eg the fruits in the breakfast restaurant. Also a bit overpriced compared to quality. In general our impression is that it is overpriced according to the standard. Biggest plus about hotel was the friendly staff."

"We had a fantastic stay. Amanda, Todd and their staff were kind and wonderful and all of Amanda’s suggestions were spot on. We loved sitting on the rooftop in the evenings and watching the sunset. It was walkable to the main drag in Esperanza and provided a great base for exploring the island. We would definitely recommend. "

"This stay was excellent from start to finish. Prior to arrival, the resort was very responsive. Upon arrival, staff were very welcoming. The food was great, the room was great, the staff were all friendly. After checkout, we were able to store our luggage for a day of exploring prior to retrieving them. Would definitely recommend. "

When we arrived she was waiting on us at the gate. We got there around 9:30 AM, way before our check in time. "Me gustó la vista al mar. Es un lugar hermoso. El sonido del mar es una experiencia súper agradable. Qué pena tener la playa Fortuna tan cerca pero tener que caminar como 10 minutos a pie para llegar a ella. Si pudieran hacer una escalera para fácil acceso, sería excelente."

Conveniently located close to the activities we wanted to do, El Yunque, Luquillo Beach, Ferry Boat to Vieques and Culebra, and many golf courses.
