Hidden gem in Grindelwald
Hotel Spinne is a little hidden gem in one of the prettiest towns in the Swiss Alps. Good, clean rooms, an A+++ location just at the foot of the Eiger with a view to die for and an outdoor, heated pool overlooking the mountain and the valley. Add to that a lovey spa area with steam baths, sauna and even complimentary lemonade water in the spa (it’s all in the details, you know) and it felt like we got a lot more than we paid for. Don’t miss out on an afternoon in the sunny heated pool - it’s a seriously golden experience and one of the most surreal pool views I’ve ever had.

I had great experience staying at Hotel Spinne. I was traveling solo, and the room for one person was perfect for me. The room was clean and spacious with a big patio and the view of Mount Eiger! The bathroom was a bit small but I had no problem with it. I also spent time at their spa after a long day of hiking, very relaxing! The location was also very convenient - in a walking distance from the train station, restaurants, and shops.

The property is well located on the Main Street and thankfully close to many restaurants as only breakfast was available on site. I travelled alone and did feel safe but would have appreciated extra security locks on the door. The walls are quite thin and the noise of people above my room came through quite clearly….. Not sure if they were in a room, the stairways or hallway though.

Very nice hotel. It’d be even nicer if there will be a jacuzzi or pool at the top floor room. (I’m willing to pay more for that.)

It is a very decent hotel in Grindelwald with few minutes walk to the gondola. We stayed in the mountain view room which can enjoy the amazing view right from the patio. The hotel is a bit old but very clean. The room has everything we need. The breakfast is great with lots of choices and also can enjoy the mountain view right at the restaurant. The infinity pool and hot tub is the highlight as well. We are family of 5 and enjoyed a lot staying in this hotel. Highly recommended.

Great Location with Views
From check-in to check-out, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful...Great Location right on the main road with an easy walk to anywhere. We had a mountain view with balcony which was GREAT!!! We did use the Spa pool (also amazing view!!!) which was perfect way to relax before going out for dinner.

테라스에서 바라볼 수 있는 풍경은 오랫동안 잊지 못할 것 같아요. 나흘 머무는 동안 체크아웃ㅡ체크인 사이 빈 시간에 수영장과 스파 시설을 이용하면 전세낸 것 처럼 너무 편하고 프라이빗하게 사용할 수 있어서 좋았습니다. 조식, 룸 컨디션, 직원분들의 친절함 또한 만족스러운 경험이었습니다. 감사합니다.

When I say this hotel was AMAZING, I mean it. I did not want to leave. The views are breath taking, the rooms are a good size and very comfortable. I could stay in the spa area for hours, the quiet room was so peaceful, the sauna area was relaxing, there is a cold shower/pool area and hot tub in the same room as sauna. One of my favorite things was the infinity pool the views are beautiful, the water was a perfect temperature. The only thing I was not a fan of is having kids splashing around in the pool it does kind of take away from the serenity of it all. Regardless that would be the only negative thing I have to say about this place otherwise definitely a 10/10 stay.

Hotel spinne was wonderful, we got a room upgrade with was great! The pool and spa area was very relaxing, and much needed after all of our hiking. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

객실2층 아이거벽뷰입니다 창문열면 저런 뷰가 보이니 아주 좋아요 역에서 걸어서 7분쯤 걸리고, 바로 맞은편에 미그로스 마트도 있어서 좋습니다 인피니티풀 도 운영시간이 길어 좋았어요

Perfect stay at the Hotel Spinne! Central Grindelwald location, attentive staff, comfortable room and an amazing heated infinity pool at the foot of the Eiger. Delicious breakfast options. Would love to return.

Disappointing
Reception staff were not attentive to their guests at all. Complete opposite from our previous hotel stay. Staff were always on the computer in the back. You want to make your guests feel welcome. Servers at breakfast lack social skills. Just ask, what do you want. Wifi cuts out all the time. Loud noise at night from restaurant down below loud music that comes up. Would not go back.

The pool and spa area are amazing, and the views at the pool are breathtaking! Breakfast selection is small but great quality, not to mention the gentleman who served us was outstanding and attentive. The location is also convenient and very close to the train station. Rooms are a little dated but it has everything you need.

10여년전에 묵었던 기억이 있어서 다시 방문하였습니다. 이전에는 삼봉이 보이는 방이었는데 이번에는 일부가 가려져서 좀 아쉬웠습니다. 서비스는 여전히 좋았으나, 삼봉뷰가 아닌 객실은 많이 아쉽네요, 테라스가 있는 부분은 좋았습니다. 그외 기본적인 시설은 다 갖추어서 불편한 점은 없었습니다. 조식도 삼봉을 보면서 먹을수 있어서 좋았습니다.

We loved the different soaps provided e.g. body wash, shampoo, hand soap, conditioner. The breakfast was deliciously and you can request a fresh omelette thats cooked perfectly! Loved the shared amenities e.g. the wellness centre. It had a sauna (different rooms of varying temperatures), spa, ice room, cold showers. Of course the infinity pool with breathtaking views The rooms are a bit thin so you can hear people stomping or outside street noise. Rooms are a bit old but clean which is important to us. Mini fridge wasn't cold enough but not a big deal. Overall our stay was pleasant and we would return again.

수돗물 마셔야 하는 호텔
물도 안주는 호텔 처음임 깔끔하고 침대도 좋고, 뭐 다 좋았는데 마시는 물을 제공 안함 수돗물 (탭워터) 마시라는데, 혹 탈나면 책임질것도 아니면서 안전하다고 수돗물 마시라함. 그게 최대 단점임

The property is very convenient, although our room has an excellent mountain view but it’s located at the bottom floor or basement. I feel unsafe when leaving the door open at night because the room is too warm. The staff are friendly and accommodating, I will still recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Ein gelungener Aufenthalt!
Sehr herzlicher Empfang, gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Unser Zimmer im Guesthouse war sehr schön und ruhig mit herrlichem Ausblick. Vom Trubel der Hauptstraße bekommt man hier gar nichts mit! Sehr bequeme Betten, äußerst sauber, man fühlt sich auf Anhieb wohl. Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

fantastic hotel
weather could have been better so pick your weeks carfully but hotel and view was amazing staff are great and very helpful and accommodating cant do enough for you pool was fantastic if a little small but nothing to worry about what a great place to stay

A great stay
Bigger than I expected single room with lovely balcony and fabulous views. Ski room is literally next to the bus stop which beat my friends more expensive resort. The outdoor pool is lovely and the breakfast was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again.
