"Wyndham purchased this property and did a quick face lift repainting rooms and adding some updated furniture, bathroom mirror, and adding a new tub walls for the shower.
Here is what was disappointing, the closer you look at the paint job you can see places where they missed, broken tile base falling off the wall in the bathroom, they also sprayed some kind of tub film on the bottom of the tub which is now pealing off, they still used the old faucets (tub & sink) which are stiff to use, and...

"Room was clean but the south-facing windows were covered to with some kind of shade cloth on the outside , which looked terrible and prevented guests to look out of the window. This made me feel somewhat claustrophobic , especially since I just came from a hotel in Richmond that had no window at all.
The complimentary breakfast was great , excellent choices , and great service and clean-up
The complimentary shuttle was prompt and service excellent ."

"The room was clean, but half of the outlets didn’t work, and the carpet near the bed smelled like urine. Since I was staying in an accessibility room, I suspect someone simply couldn’t reach the bathroom in time. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, as it’s first come, first served. As long as you return before evening, you should be able to secure a parking spot in front of the building. "Stayed at Hyatt place for two nights and it was clean, although a little too strong with the cleaning odors . Rooms were very spacious and comfortable . Staff was helpful Only regret the bar with light bar food was not available the 2 nights we were there . Plenty of other options nearby. Outdoor pool was nice to sit by . Area close enough to downtown Raleigh area , about a 15-20 minute drive , would consider staying again ."

"Location was good. Too many construction vehicles taking up several parking spots maki it difficult to find spot. There is a clear notice in the room that housekeeping will be provided upon request when staying more than one night. We were disturbed during entire stay. Air conditioning kept going off when sleeping as there is no motion. The summer heat would wake us up then the air will come on. Never could get decent sleep."
