The staff was great, and the mattress and pillows were comfortable. Good size room, with USB ports and updated TV. The property was clean and reasonably priced (130-150$). Location is amazing! It had undergone some updates, but some items were still outdated and worn out, such as the old bathtub, and electrical and plumbing fixtures. The elevator and doors had a fresh coat of paint, wall paper, but it didn’t hide their age.
We were awakened at 5 am by the loud pumping noise of a shower in one of my room neighbors’ apartments. It seemed like their pipes were about to burst, which was quite not pleasant. Flush toilets sounded like an an airplane one. Interestingly, when I used my own shower, there were no issues or noises, good pressure and all!
Another interesting feature was the placement of the parking and floodlights. They were positioned directly in front of the windows, pointing at them, creating a 24h daylight sensation that came from behind and to the sides of the blackout curtains.
Overall, I think the property’s renovation efforts were nice but a bit of a wast on some non essential items, leaving other important outdated items behind, not for $130-150$ price it seems a good deal still!
