"We live in Ligonier but needed a place to house our visiting relatives for a bridal shower. I had always admired this house and was excited that it was available to rent for my family. They loved the Victorian architecture and the convenient downtown location. It was especially beautiful decorated for Christmas. I would highly recommend this house for your vacation. "The host was very attentive. The home was well stocked on anything you might need and uniquely decorated. Convenient for our needs. Very nice rural quiet location. The back yard was perfect for our dog to run around. We would stay again. "

"Air conditioning didn't keep upstairs cool. Air conditioner in queen size bedroom didn't seem to be working. Tried to open windows, but didn't have screens on some of the windows. Upstairs smelled like urine. Registered for 6 guests, but only had 5 bath towels. Listing stated shampoo and soap supplied - had 1 small "hotel size" shampoo. Had to buy toilet paper as only a couple of rolls were supplied. "

"What a beautiful home! If we needed a place for a larger group I would absolutely stay here! We only needed a very small space so we stayed in the basement room which was perfect...large bathroom, laundry, kitchen and right on the river! Definitely a winner!"
