"Very nice property right on the river. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Property was well stocked with all the essentials. Beautiful views from both decks!"

"If you want a peaceful retreat then look no further! This is your spot! The house is perfectly clean and well appointed. My favorite spot for a morning cup of coffee was the screened in porch looking out at the river. Unfortunately we didn’t get to spend our time allotted there and had to leave early."

"House was okay. Kitchen/stove was not very clean. A lot of details/upkeep not completed such as partial paint jobs, no propane for outdoor firepit. It really felt like we stayed at a home that had been forgotten about for a year or so. Smell was musty."

"Great property. Lots to do in the house and not too far from the smaller towns that make up is area. Would love to come back. Side note. This place is pet friendly but there is almost no grass. Not sure if this was due to the storm last year or it looks like they might be doing some outside work. For dogs that are picky about where they go, be aware. "

"Carlson's Crawdad House was amazing. I wish our entire 7 day stay in NC would have been here. Super clean, crisp fresh sheets and pillows, A/C worked great as it was in the high 80's - low 90's outside. Felt like home in the mountains. Large enough for 2 families. Thank you we would love to stay here again."
