My mum and I stayed at this quaint and exquisite property in the heart of the old town. The property is a 2-3 mins walk away from the hustle and bustle of the shops and restaurants. Maria, our host, was so friendly, polite and a pleasure to interact and talk to. The breakfasts in the morning was so fresh and delicious, make the most of the Greek yogurt and the fresh juice! The mornings are perfect and quiet to enjoy the sounds of the birds! We were super comfortable at the property with all amenities, including iron, fridge and hot shower. Thank you Maria and all, we had an incredible time here and hope to visit again soon!

Excellent accueil de cet hotel intimiste, cour interieure calme, ideale pour petit dejeuner. Arrivés de nuit quelques difficultés pour reperer l'entrée. A recommander.

Great atmosphere with authentic, historical highlights throughout. A very tasteful, still low key decor. My favorites were the courtyard and the breakfast time ( great food but also two very nice ladies who made it special).

Keskellä Rodoksen vanhaa kaupunkia, pieni 8 huoneen hotelli, ostosmahdollisuudet ja ravintolat hyvin lähellä. Hiukan hankala lähestyä, kannattaa ehdottomasti ottaa etukäteen yhteys hotellin omistajaan saapumisen osalta taksin suhteen. Satoja vuosia vanhat historialliset rakennukset majoituspaikassa voivat alussa tuntua hurjan näköiseltä, mutta huoneet ovat siistejä. Henkilökunta on hyvin ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Ranta ei ole kovin lähellä.

I WAS EXPECTING MUCH MORE.
It’s a charming place,well located in the old town;Maria was very kind helpful and polite.Breakfast was fresh and Ok,nothing really special ; We didn’t like the bathroom in the room,very small and it was impossible to take a shower without watering the whole bathroom.It was extremely hot,temperatures reaching around 40 c and we never get our room with the air conditioning on,like in many places when is extremely Hot..We also couldn’t keep the air conditioning ON,we usually don’t do this,but,as I said,the temperatures were extremely HIGH,and it was very unpleasant and uncomfortable to return to our room after dinner,and found it like a Sauna!! Besides this,it would be called a Bed and Breakfast and not a Hotel,there’s no service,no swimming pool,nothing,and only Maria was there doing everything,but not every time.So,I was really expecting much more,reading the previous comments.

Dear Rodrigo,Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed (?) review but not taking the time to see what our property offers when you booked it. I would like to start our response by apologizing about the weather, it's indeed our fault that the temperatures during your stay in July in Rhodes, Greece were at yearly peak. We should have informed the weather company about your stay with us so they would have turned the heat off. You even complained in person about it saying to me ''we came from Brazil and we expected nicer weather''. Our fault indeed. As you are a frequent traveller and your review shows that, you should know that most hotels have energy saving practices and one of them is having a card that turns off the electricity of the room when guests are out as it is a total waste of energy and CO2 emissions to have lights/ac on while you're out of the rooms for hours. It's bad for the enviroment in simple words. The airconditions in our rooms are new and it doesn't take more than 2 minutes to fully cool the place. On top of that our rooms, because they are built in a medieval building with big stone walls keep a naturally cool temperature throughout the day that doesnt reach more than 30 degrees if the weather outside is above 40 degrees. Before you booked the room you could see that the room you chose is the smallest one and also has a smaller bathroom compared to our other rooms, there's plenty of photos of each room and also in the description you can see how big a room is.You claim that there was no service yet the very first thing you say it that there was an ala cart breakfast served by Maria. Again as you are a very experienced and frequent tourist, you could have taken the time to not just book the cheapest room you found online but seek for what you wanted in advance, there are no hotels with swimming pools in the Medieval Town of Rhodes, it's against the law. There are hundreds of resorts with pools and 24 hour reception in Rhodes but you have to pay a little bit more, I guess you wanted a 5 star hotel service and facilities but not the price of it. Totally understandable. Our staff members are around the property all day and afternoon and we are available 24/7 via phone in case you needed anything. You never made your complains besides the hot weather known to any staff member. We hope the next time you book any hotel, you actually read the descriptions of the rooms and the facilities the hotel offers instead of complaining after in a review and we also hope that you will start travelling in cooler months wherever you go if you can't handle the hot weather. Wonderful little hotel. Owner is incredibly helpful and speaks perfect English. The room was renovated, spacious and very clean. The location is perfect with restaurants and museums in easy walking distance. The breakfast was fantastic! Served in a beautiful courtyard it was a highlight of a wonderful stay.

Amazing location, beautiful history, warm welcome!
Everything about St Artemios Hotel was incredible. First, the location could not have been better. As you enter the gates, you realise you’ve stumbled on this little gem of an oasis in the midst of a bustling medieval town. Georgia, our host, went above and beyond for us. So warm, helpful and informative - we experienced the best Rhodes has to offer because of the effort she took - she’s an expert not only within the old town, but also on which vineyards, beaches, ruins and long winding scenic roads to take. Our time on Rhodes would not have been the same without her! And then there is the breakfast - Georgia prepares fresh traditional Greek breakfasts on site every morning using locally sourced produce. Don’t miss out on her Frappes either!! We really recommend St Artemios Hotel (and Georgia’s hospitality and cooking)!

I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for a central stay in Rhodes Town. Georgia is delightful, attentive, friendly and a mine of information. The rooms are superb and the courtyard is a beautiful haven of tranquillity. The location is within 3 minutes' walk of half a dozen really nice restaurants and it's close to all key attractions. As you'll gather, I can't speak too highly of the Saint Artemios. Thanks to Georgia, Alina and the rest of the splendid staff.

Never have we experienced such an amazing host in a uniquely beautiful hotel. Georgia met us at our taxi, (even carried my suitcase!) and presented us with a glorious entrance into the courtyard of the hotel. She invited us to sit down while she checked us in, offering pastry and a beverage. Shortly after, she joined us, asked a few questions and was ready to suggest historical sites and restaurants in Rhodes Town and beyond. She offered to plan our 3 day stay in Rhodes! Our accommodations were beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Our trip was superb all because of Georgia. We've made a forever friend, that we miss already, and can't wait to return!

Georgia, was the kind, professional and down-to-earth property manager is amazing, helpful and available with the true spirit of Greek hospitality. Honestly, a solo traveler, she was like a five star concierge and long lost family all rolled into one. The property is both stunning & cozy capturing all if the most beautiful elements of medieval Rhodes town - the enclosed courtyard which greets you on arrival was connected to the medieval St. Artemis church and the hotel management keeps it both authentic and hip with subtle eclectic touches here and there. And I always appreciate complementary coffee capsules waiting in my room for that first cup in the morning.

The staff, along with a gorgeous and centrally-located property, make this hotel a must-stay if in Rhodes Town. We arrived to Rhodes later at night and were met by Georgia to guide us to our room and explain the town and recommendations. Also, the breakfast was delicious!! Definitely recommend.

A beautiful, quiet hotel in the heart of the old town with lovely accommodation and a cool, serene courtyard setting. However, the soul of this property is undoubtedly its most wonderful hostess, Georgia! From greeting every guest personally, to making delicious breakfasts, taking care of our laundry and arranging tours, nothing was too difficult for this amazing woman. I would highly recommend it and hope I can go back some day. It was everything I hoped for and more. I travelled alone and felt very safe and looked after. Georgia was sweet and treated me like family. The room was always clean and I had new towels every day. Also, it was very quiet (even though you’re very close to restaurants and bars) and the bed was very comfortable (which is hard to come by in Greece). I can’t say enough good things. The whole experience wouldn’t be the same without Georgia!!

Un pequeño pero lindo hotel en el corazón de la ciudad amurallada de Rodas, Georgia nos recibió y atendió con mucho cariño y buscando siempre satisfacernos, nos dio datos, hizo reservas, lavandería, taxis, etc muy eficiente. La habitación bonita y muy cómoda , volveré ....

Georgia and her staff were so welcoming. They tried to help us in every possible way! The hotel is in the heart of Old Town and is very convenient to the port. We did a day trip to Symi so that was a plus for us!! The hotel is quaint and beautiful!

FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE
The staff were fabulous and went out of their way to ensure our stay went without hitch. To say we had to traverse a previously unknown walled city at 10:30pm was daunting - is an underestimate. The staff arranged a taxi at the airport and they met us at drop-off point and walked us through to the hotel, where wine and a warm welcome were awaiting us. The rooms are exactly as shown on the website - within a walled courtyard with chairs, loungers and umbrellas available. Staff took the time to phone and book the trips we wanted to take but were also unobtrusive when required. Georgia -the Manager was amazing and so helpful. Would give it 10 out of 10 and can think of nothing that did not come up to our expectations. Looking forward to our next stay in this beautiful place.

This hotel is stunning - a beautiful building, immaculately kept, in the heart of old town. Georgia couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful during my stay!

A masterclass in boutique hotels
Quite easily one of the best stays I have ever had. Nestled in the heart of Rhodes old town, the location was idyllic and serenely peaceful. The rooms are large, comfortable and with a beautifully relaxing decor. Our host Giorgia (which I hope I’ve spelled correctly) and the other young lady working there, who’s name I didn’t manage to catch, really couldn’t do enough for you. The epitome of Greek hospitality and friendliness that you would be very hard matched to find anywhere else in the world. Nothing was too much trouble, from helping with our, rather extensive, array of luggage, to arranging a tour guide, booking rental cars and just generally getting to know you, it was exceptional service. I couldn’t recommend the place more highly if you are going to be staying in the old town. 11/10.

Excellent service
The room was great! House keeping was top notch which she showed so much passion in tidying up the room with small attention to detail! The manager was kind and even offered extra bottle of water each day knowing that the shops in town were closing as it’s off season.

We had a wonderful stay while in Rhodes. The hotel was very nice and quaint. George was a wealth of knowledge. We really appreciated his help in recommendations for sites to see and where to eat. Beautiful historic area.

Suberbe boutique hôtel. Chambre digne d’un magasine art déco. Personnel aux petits soins. Excellente situation géographique près de la rue principale. Cadre exceptionnel au cœur du village médiéval.
