"Great place to say between Oudtshoorn and Calitzdorp. Owners are very helpful and accommodating. Cottages are old and quaint but in a very peaceful setting."

"Well located in the center of the village, spacious apartment, nice and clean, equipped with everything one could think of. Jude is a great host, helpful and happy to give a lot of advices. Negative, our daughter was not too happy with the mattress in the second room - but this might be her feeling only."

"The road to and from the cottages is challenging for some. I was not fussed but my wife is scared of heights and in some parts was anxious of the sheer drop. The cottage takes you back in time as there is no electricity, hot water or mobile phone reception. I really enjoyed the seclusion and quietness but this may not be for everyone. The 'donkey' to have hot water takes me back to my childhood as it requires tender loving care and lots of patience and time. Here again, not for everyone but if...

"Comfortable apartments, plenty of space. Secure, gated location. Secure parking. Nice seating area outside apartment for al fresco dining. Large shaded seating area around pool. "

"Great place and a Lovely room!! But the check in felt a little weird/very rushed. The manager showed us the apartment and explained everything in like 1 minute. It was alot to take in and remember and he talked very fast so I had to ask again several times... It felt like he was in a hurry and that in turn made us feel unwelcome. Very weird customer service. But the place was lovely in a great quiet place with gorgeous surroundings."

"Very cool location and quite relaxing. Needs some improvement on the interior and exterior of the cottage though as a lot of things were worn. It was quite windy while we were there and the wind blew most of the smoke coming the fireplace back inside which made everything smell like smoke, including our clothes in our suitcases. It did improve the feeling of being in a remote location, but still, this is probably not what you want. Overall quite good and value for money."
