"The cabin was comfortable and very clean! The homemade pastries were awesome! Highly recommend this rental!"

"Super cute place! Excellent location for Acadia National Park. Peaceful, A/C, laundry, cute little kitchen care pack (an old review said there was nothing to wash dishes with- that no longer is the case, we were provided dish soap and a sponge) and a bathroom care pack with shampoo, conditioner, laundry, and soap/body wash. It was pricy but that’s expected during peak travel times and we booked pretty late in the year. Grateful to have found this gem and highly recommend. "

"We loved the cabin and the location. We enjoyed the deer, turkeys and birds who visited. So easy to access Acadia park and downtown Bar Harbor. A short and pretty walk over to the seawall and picnic area. We were very glad we chose SW Harbor as it was really the quiet side. The Harbor Table and Peter Trout’s Tavern are great spots for dinner or lunch. "

"The stay was fine and the host a nice enough guy. However, just to lay out some facts: - The primary picture of the shed was taken before the units 1 and 2 were hung on the outside. The unit is half of that and you share a wall with another guest where you can hear everything they say or do. - The shed is about 50 yards from the primary house and about 50 feet from another structure that is an active construction site. - In order to turn on the AC, you have to stand on an old fold out wooden...

"The cabin is small and rustic as described but comfortable for two adults. Everything needed for your stay is supplied, even a usb c plug which I forgot but needed for my camera equipment. "This cabin is awesome!!! Be sure to book it if you’re traveling to Mount Desert Island. It is close to the park and other “must sees”but away from the crowds. The setting is more spectacular than the photos show. The cabin is clean and well equipped. Alex is an awesome host. Attentive and communicative. It was our first time to the island, and we had an awesome experience. "

"This cottage was a pleasant change from the bustle of Bar Harbor. Although its small and cozy, it had what we needed for a short term stay. Barring a few check-in inconveniences, it was comfortable and we especially enjoyed the firepit that we spent time at after a long Acadia Park hiking adventure."

"We loved our stay at the Summer Paradise Cabin! The location worked out very well, the check in was as easy as could be, and communication with the property owner was excellent. This place has lots of charm and fit our needs perfectly. We definitely enjoyed hiking on the Quiet Side, and the stars are phenomenal out here! "We love Acadia and this was a unique and fun home to stay in. We hadn’t stayed on this side of the island and I am glad we did. It was a fun location to do some things we hadn’t done before and the house/kitchen was perfect for us as a stopping ground. I would suggest adding another railing up to the loft, where the netting decoration is. "A very charming cabin that’s located on an awesome property, overlooking a little bay off the Atlantic. One evening after having spent the morning on a lobster boat and then steaming lobster and crabs in the cabin, I walked down to the stone peak on the shore. There were two seals near a school of fish about 30 yards out. Two bald eagles then swooped by, followed by an osprey. Everything about Swans Island is just great, a friendly community. "What a great place to relax. The property abuts the shore--maybe a 60-second stroll down a grassy, gentle slope where adirondacks and the dock await.
