"Place was great. Lots of privacy! It was so quiet especially at night as we had cocktails on the deck. Made our 38th anniversary special. Did some fun stuff.Lands End store at end of Bailey Island and beach. Cooks lobster House. Cabot Antique mall and flea market in Brunswick. Had the best blueberry pancakes we ever had at the Kopper Kettle. Popham Beach topped everything off! talked with David at the end of the trip and hope to rent from him again! "

"Please listen closely!! If you pass this place up, I truly feel sorry for you. I am on a first time adventure to Maine from Indiana and this is my FAVORITE place stay of ALL TIME. I wish I had done my homework and planned more time at Desert of Maine. Our cabin was cozy after a nice evening by the fire. Loved the shower!! I will definitely return for a girl's trip with my sisters!! (Cabin 17)"

"The cabin is beautifully furnished, well stocked and very cozy. The waterfront views were beautiful and nice to look out at while playing cards or eating breakfast at the dining room table. We traveled during the day to visit friends and sight see as the time of year was too cold for water sports. During warm weather this is a spectacular property for swimming and kayaking. Sunsets were beautiful along with the foliage and Northern Lights using our phone cameras. Eva was very accomodating!"

"Det var desværre ikke en god oplevelse at bo på dette hotel, da værelset ikke viste sig at være som beskrevet ved bookingen. Vi havde booket en deluxe suite med to soveværelser på 65 kvm, men det viste sig at være to soveværelser og et badeværelse på færre kvadratmeter og med skrå vægge. Der skulle have været en stue, men det var der ikke, så der var ikke meget plads til at sidde andre steder end på sengen, og de skrå vægge gjorde at det føltes meget småt. Poolen og morgenmaden var fin, men vi fik desværre oplevelsen af at være blevet lovet mere end vi fik, og det var hverken deluxe eller suite. Beliggenheden er god, men det var ikke prisen værd."
