Cark & Cartmel Railway Station is only a 20-minute walk from the property. Here, you can travel by train on the Furness line, which runs between Barrow-in-Furness and Lancaster.

Located in Flookburgh, you have the best of both worlds, with easy access to Humphrey Head, a popular tourist spot for beach lovers, 2 miles, and right on the border of the Lake District National Park. There are walks, cycling routes, local pubs, great shopping and stunning scenery. It is also a short drive from the popular Victorian town of Grange-over-Sands, and is just a few miles from the southern tip of Lake Windermere, providing easy access to the Lakeland fells.
