"Built in 1972, Midtown is one of the few landmark family owned local motels. I stayed there one night to reconnect with my childhood. I was not disappointed. It is in the heart of Myrtle Beach and has retained that precious vibe of yesteryear. Just good friendly people who care about every customer. The place is a simple, basic motel with the amenities you need, including a small kitchen. It is clean and secure. "The beds were super comfy! No bugs….first thing I always look for!!! Staff was friendly and helpful. The carpets need cleaned, or better yet redone. It’s overall quiet, and relaxing. Close and easy beach access. Close parking is very limited, but there’s plenty of parking across the street. I do recommend, and would stay here again. Definitely worth the money. "

"We had no toilet paper - had to ask for that. We found out there was no Wi-Fi just after we arrived. They told us “It’s down a technician will fix it tommorow.” They told us the day after that it should work, it didn’t throughout all 3 days. "

"Fin beliggenhed, lige ved den gode strand og i gå afstand til byen. Vi havde værelse med balkon, havudsigt og køkken. Stedet er lidt slidt, men yder en god service."

"Best staff around! Clean rooms & comfortable beds, daily service is offered if needed. Easy beach access, with a few options for shopping nearby. One of my favorite places to stay!"

"Beach access directly across the road. Pool that also had a small sec for toddlers to swim and play in. Two bedrooms. Cold ac. Good shower. Host was super helpful. "

"This is my honest review the place was clean and well kept we had a small issue with the shower not draining fast but it did drain rooms were nice and cool and felt great after coming in from the hot heat the pool was clean and everything was so so easy to get to it was 5 minutes to Broadway at the beach the main drag is easily a 8 minute walk the beach is just across the street it was great the only downside was when we arrived there was some obnoxious guest who ended up crashing into the fence...
