I am requesting to speak with a manager from the Grand Forks location regarding several serious concerns from our recent stay.
First, the Canad Inns attempted to charge my credit card multiple times for different amounts. Due to the number of attempts and the varying charges, my bank flagged the activity as potential fraud and blocked the transactions. This is extremely concerning, and I am unsure why my card was charged repeatedly with different amounts.
Additionally, there were several safety and cleanliness issues during our stay. The elevator near Playmakers had duct tape around the paneling. While using the elevator, my 7-year-old son was shocked when he pressed the button to go down. This raises serious safety concerns.
Outside of our room, a Pack ’n Play was left in the middle of the hallway throughout the night and was not properly stored. This created a fire hazard by blocking the hallway. I contacted the front desk to report this issue, but no one came to remove it.
There was also feces present in a doorway near our room, which further suggests that the property was not being properly maintained or cleaned.
I am very concerned about both the safety conditions and the billing practices during our stay. I appreciate you taking the time to review these matters, and I hope we can work together to reach a resolution.
