"We were attending a wedding nearby and wanted a quiet, relaxing place to stay. Farmview cottage was perfect! The cottage was well maintained and had everything we needed for a short stay. We wished we could've explored the Zen Barn but it was occupied by a group. Some of the cats on the property gave us a tour of the other neat spots like the boat with the sitting area on top and the sauna. All in all, a great experience!"

"Beautiful natural surroundings are the focal point of this property. Time well spent on the porch in the mornings and evenings with coffee and the birds happily chirping. White oaks, lob lolly pines, and tulip trees encircle the property. Perfect in every way."

"This location is off a dirt road off another dirt road - - it's rural, which improved our quality of star gazing! Also, the fire pit was lovely. Be sure to get extra wood from the host. This is not the Ritz-Carlton but it's a great place to stay if you are heading into Shenandoah Park via the Spotswood Trail, Route 33. We enjoyed our visit here."

"This was THE perfect spot for one last hurrah/downtime before the school year and sports pick back up. It was remote and quiet with cover water access and kayaks. Everything in the kitchen works beautifully and their is plenty of beds and space to spread out. We really enjoyed our stay"

"We had a lovely time here! It was just the refresh we all needed. There were parts of the house that could definitely use some TLC (ie. broken trim, missing lightbulbs/insufficient light), but our group wasn’t too bothered by those things. The hot tub could have been cleaner (some of our group got rashes), but the other amenities made up for it. Despite the negatives, we would (and will) stay here again."

"We enjoyed our short weekend stay at Heron's Cove Log Cabin. The home works well for groups with plenty of bedroom and bathroom space. We ended up using less than half the space available. The home decor is well done matching the cabin aesthetics. The outdoor areas could use a little attention with an ample amount of cobwebs around the deck and dock areas as well as weeds in the lawn and beach areas. We did assist with some cleanup during our stay. The lake and boating amenities provided are...
