"We loved everything about Seven Oaks - parking was plentiful, room was very clean and large, restaurant was convenient and delicious - but the standout feature was the helpfulness of the staff. Aisling and Declan welcomed us in and made us immediately comfortable. Hospitality is taken seriously and we were very appreciative."

"Kilkea Castle was a wonderful stay. Last minute we booked a room in the Lodges; unfortunately, the actual Castle was all booked up. This didn’t lessen the experience though. The lodge room was clean, comfortable, well-appointed and had a fairway view. We were also able to use the facilities in the castle itself. We weren’t there to golf and that was just as well as the course was closed for maintenance. As a golfer the course did look like a premium course, and I’d love to go back for...

Blackstairs Shepherds Huts
Blackstairs Shepherds HutsKnocksquire
10/10 Fremragende
The beautiful Irish countryside has so much to offer. When this is combined with the love for nature that the host Mary shares with you and staying in one of the shepherds huts all conditions for a perfect stay are there. Guidance to nice walks and places to see are part of the warm welcoming to Blackstairs Shepherds Hut.
We enjoyed the quietness, a walk along the river Barrow and having dinner in the nearby town Borris.
