We paid extra for the Jozi historical gold mine tour and were glad we did. Going down in the gold mine and later up on the large Ferris wheel were both highlights for us."

That is not my opinion-the desk clerk escorted us to the grocery and back, made sure our Uber was in front before we left the lobby, etc. The area is not rundown.
