"A good standard Japanese Business Hotel, very close to the Railway Station and the walking distance to the castle. Do not forget to take advantage of on of the volunteer guides free of charge if you visit the castle. The hotel has a nice onsen on the top floor, take advantage of that too. It has a free sauna as well. Staff is very helpful and speak quite good English for this type of hotel. Excellent value for money."

"Our stay at this Ryokan was just perfect. We loved how central the hotel was located right in the most beautiful street with wonderful stores. We loved the beautiful authentic interior. The rooms were so comfortable and very clean. The beds were heavenly. The staff was nice and so friendly. It couldn’t have been better. "

We could even ship our luggage from the hotel to Kyoto (2 days).. Always coffee and tea. Okay breakfast, mostly Japanese but also many kinds of tasty bread. "
