"Stayed here for a show at SPAC with my dad. The property was perfect for our needs; 2 bedrooms, clean, good amenities, and it was a quiet and peaceful location. No traffic noise, nice large yard with a fire pit and awesome gas grill. It was nice staying in a quieter area but still close to Saratoga and the concert venue."

"Rustic, authentic Adirondack Lake House with plenty of room for the family. Plenty of outdoor equipment including a great dock to fish off of. Indoors was cozy with plenty of warming options on chilly nights and rainy days. Kitchen was well equipped and very spacious. Multiple dining areas including a very nice sun porch. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for authentic lake house experience."

"Chris's property is clean , comfortable and well lit. I felt completely safe going in and out of the property. It was an upscale rv to me, as I have often stayed in hotels. This property was very close to where I was digging for Herkimer crystals, so it was perfect. I enjoyed the Keurig coffee as well! Thanks for being a great host Chris!"

"We had a large groups of guys, and this house was perfect. From the gorgeous pool and back patio, to the numerous sleeping locations, the house fit our needs perfectly. Our host was great, he provided towels for the pool and showers and gave us some great suggestions of a few places to eat with beautiful lake views. "We enjoyed our stay. The house was close enough to town to be convenient yet remote enough to feel like we were really out in the countryside and very private. The backyard was lovely with pond, fountain, firepit, landscaping and plenty of spots to sit and relax and enjoy nature. The house is clean and spacious and was equipped with everything you could possibly need - TVs, cookware, laundry, extra blankets, toothbrushes etc. Our host replied to messages in a timely fashion. "We had a wedding about 10 minutes from the property and it was perfect for us and our college kids to meet up. Spacious and a wonderful, quiet location for us to relax before the wedding. Plenty of space for us all to get ready and sleep comfortably. The back deck was great for us to have a few cocktails and enjoy to beautiful weather. Our stay here made our time together relaxing and enjoyable."

We were hosting a party at Tinney's Tavern in Lake Desolation and the South Shore House was a perfect place to retreat to at the end of the evening! Kyle was super responsive to any questions we had. "Cute little house that was great for my family of young adults and a dog. There is a great neighborhood park and walking trail and close to Ballston Spa. The house does back up to some kind of heavy machinery business that was very loud on the Sat we were there but that might have been a one time thing. The deck could use a power wash!"
