The most beautiful place
Kan kun anbefale dette hotel. Det er meget smukke omgivelser at bo i. Servicen er i top, hjælpsomme og altid med et smil. Et af de smukkeste jeg har boet på.

Great historic place. Very cozy. I can highly recommend the tour of the mansion. The only problem is that the restaurant next door plays very loud music and karaoke until very late.

We truly regret that you were somewhat put off by the merrymaking from the food court next door despite our having installed 3 layers of sound-proofing at the windows and the ante-room. However we are in the midst of a living World Heritage city and we have to live with the community around us.

This is an amazing old building but we qeee not aware before our stay that there would be yours twice a day from outside people and yay does affect your privacy quite a bit. It’s a very old building but clearly they are doing their best to keep it maintained. A great place for a 2 night stay in Georgetown

We loved staying at The Blue Mansions. After spending a few days walking the streets of George Town, it was a pleasure to come back each day. The building and interior are stunning, and the service provided by the staff is first-class. It was a real treat to have our own Jacuzzi bath and to step outside with access to the pool. Had this hotel been anywhere else in the world, i am sure we would be paying triple the price, which is well outside of our range. We stayed in the 50's room with our 13-year-old; we had ample space, plenty of wardrobe space, and loved the private garden access at the back. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly and looking after us.

A beautiful and unique place to stay. We loved our room. Keep in mind that there are daily tours. When we first arrived there was a tour going on and while the tours do not enter the private guest areas, we were a bit alarmed at the noise level, and also that we were not able to sit in the bar area for a cold drink. However, once the tour was over everything quieted down and we able to enjoy the space. Our room was on ground level, but our friends had booked a suite which was up a very steep and long flight of stairs; another thing to keep in mind. But the suite was huge and spacious, as was our room. The staff was perfectly lovely.

とても美しいホテルでした
世界遺産の建物になるのも納得！の美しさでした。 ツアーでも入れますが、宿泊エリアや早朝、夜の ライトアップは見れませんので、宿泊はおすすめです！ 建物全体が天井が高く、開放感がありました。 宿泊前から気になっていた、裏がレッドガーデンで 夜遅くまで騒音が気になるという口コミを見かけていて 実際、部屋によるのかもしれませんが、確かに音楽やカラオケが聞こえました。 ちゃんと耳栓が用意されているのがすごいですね（笑） （私はペナン到着日で夜熟睡の為、騒音は気になりませんでしたが、眠りが浅い方は要注意かもしれません） あと、エレベーターがないので、2Fの部屋だと荷物の 重い方はちょっと辛いかもしれません。 個人的には、素敵な雰囲気の建物、部屋で大満足です！

Hotel magnifique rempli d’histoire. On se sent vraiment à l’époque de la dynastie royale . Très propre . Petit déjeuner excellent ( surtout le yogourt maison ) jus frais pressé. Il y avait même du pain sans gluten. Piscine chauffée. Le spas dans la chambre un bel ajout. On a adoré.

This property is unlike any other. A gorgeous mansion lovingly restored by a couple committed to giving it life after years of disrepair. It's simply stunning and exudes feng shui! The only negative is that they cannot control what gets developed around them (or doesn't) so it's near both high-rise monsters, and some run-down old properties.

Perfect Stay in a UNESCO world heritage building
It’s not everyday that you get to stay in a UNESCO world heritage building! We had an amazing stay, friendly and thoughtful staff and nice interior design!

Nice environment
The hotel is very nice with nice design. Staff are so friendly and helpful and provide a lot of background info of the hotel. Breakfast and free briefing session included. Room is tidy and clean. But the hot water supply in the shower room is not stable indeed. Other than that everything is great

Best stay in Malaysia!
We stayed for 3 nights on our tour of Malaysia and were wowed out by whole experience. The hotel is in a fabulous location with Chinatown, the harbour and many other attractions within walking distance (or accessible by free CAT bus) The rooms were extremely comfortable and steeped in history. The breakfast was delicious and our sampler menu dining experience was a real treat. Two areas however really stood out; Firstly, the hotel is also a museum and is full of amazing history. A free tour for residents is provided and we were lucky to go on the Friday morning tour that was led by the owner Loh Lim who was informative and passionate about the property history and renovation. I would recommend doing the tour early in your visit so that you can appreciate the finer points of the hotel. The greatest asset of the hotel however is the staff who were fabulous. They were super attentive and friendly...if only the staff at Raffles in Singapore and The Majestic in KL could match the staff at the Blue Mansion! Remember, it is a museum and a live renovation project so it's not the super swanky experience of some of the other 4 and 5 star hotels on our travels but the service and atmosphere was outstanding! Thank you to the team for a magical experience.

Very nice restoration of a grand property. The staff are all very thoughtful and helpful. An example was making breakfast boxes for us because our checkout was very early. Food on the property is quite good. It is a small hotel only 18 rooms so there is limited staff sometimes you need to find them but they are always very helpful. An annoying issue for me was their automated checkin which asks for a lot of information including a pic of your passport. The software doesn’t always allow you to enter information (I used my iPhone) . The number listed to call also seems is not wifi calling friendly so high charges were required.

Dear Jennifer, We had waived your cancellation despite being over the cancellation period. I am sorry that your were not aware that the room you booked was NOT ON SITE although this was highlighted clearly on the booking page. Nevertheless i hope you had enjoyed your time in George Town

If you're looking for a unique place to stay, The Blue Mansion is it! The mansion itself is beautiful and the staff were very nice. It's walking distance to a lot of the attractions Georgetowm offers and close to the ferry if you happen to be coming through that way. Highly recommend this place if you are staying in Penang :)
