"Zwei tolle Wochen in diesem wunderbaren Ferienhaus. Es war alles, wie beschrieben. Auf Fragen hat Carlos schnell und hilfreich geantwortet. Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist schon nicht alltäglich aber gut zu schaffen, im Zweifelsfall sollte man einen Mietwagen mit Automatik wählen. Carlos hatte uns zur Begrüßung ein Zufahrtsvideo geschickt, coole Idee. Danke nocheinmal!"

Check in und Check out bequem über die Schlüsselbox.Haus und Garten waren top sauber, gepflegt und gut ausgestattet.Es gab alles zum kochen, sogar Bügeleisen und -Brett.Standort ist ruhig aber mit einem Auto gut zu erreichen. "Das Objekt liegt etwas abgelegener über Funchal. Die Strasse dorthin ist sehr steil, ein Fahrzeug mit etwas mehr kraft ist von Vorteil, aber auch mit einem kleineren im ersten Gang machbar. :D der Garten ausserhalb des Objektes ist sehr schön und voller Natur. Auch kleine Hasen hoppeln herum. Innen ist das Objekt ein wenig Renovierung bedürftig und auf die Sauberkeit könnte man noch etwas mehr achten, aber an sich ist das Haus sehr schön. "This was supposed to be a romantic adventure for my husband and I but at the last moment he was unable to go with me so it became was solo adventure. Admittedly driving on Madeira Island can be surprising because of the narrow roads and fast speeds the locals drive. I was a little nervous trying to find the location but once I understood how to open the gate to the property I was amazed by even the driveway. "We had a wonderful stay at Between the Sea and Mountains! The home was cozy with so much character. We enjoyed cooking on the BBQ outside in the little courtyard and in the kitchen, it had everything we needed. We loved ending our days on the balcony overlooking the ocean and mountain reflecting on the amazing day we had hiking. We would 100% recommend staying here!"

"Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Geräumiges Haus, sauber und tolle Aussicht auf das Meer. Leider nur ein Handtuch pro Badezimmer und ein Duschtuch pro Person. Wenig Tassen und Teller für 5 Personen. Sehr kleine Geschirrspülmaschine. Der beheizte Pool hatte leider nur 15 Grad. Seit Oktober 2024 wird auch eine Kurtaxe in Höhe von 2,- Euro pro Tag und Person erhoben. Maximal für 7 Tage. Das waren für uns 70,- Euro. Das wurde uns leider erst 3 Tage vor Ankunft mitgeteilt. "C'est une belle maison, agréable, fonctionnelle, et très spacieuse. Nous avons passé 3 belles semaines en famille. Les hôtes sont très prévenants, toujours prêts à aider. La localisation est idéale: on est à proximité de la station balnéaire de Ponta Do Sol, à 30 min de Funchal en voiture et des premières belles randonnées. Bref, nous recommandons !"
