Hyggeligt værelse med udsigt til dådyr og natur. Morgenmaden var intet fancy, men ok. Sød betjening. Prisen er dog høj.

Thank you for your stay! Thank you for sharing pictures of your room and our resident elk herd! Our rooms prices are competitive with others in the area with our homemade breakfast as complimentary (free) and others not serving breakfast. So, all in all, it is a good deal.

Clean rooms decorated with a theme. Inn is owned and run by individuals, not corporate, and the special touch shows. Would have booked 2 extra nights but one was already sold out. Place highly recommended!

Great place when entering Yellowstone from the north. Very friendly check-in. Super clean rooms. A bit away from the hustle of downtown Gardiner and back into natural surroundings yet still convenient.

We arrived later in the eveni g and were greeted by the owner who checked us in and answered all of pur questions. The establishment is very clean, quiet and comfortable. Nicely appointed rooms. Very clean. Cafeteria style food concession not good. Better to make dinner reservations at the Yellowstone Lodge about a10 minute drive. Beautiful hotel with finer dining.

Dear Guests, Cindy just contacted me that this review is incorrect and for another hotel she stayed at. Of course, this cannot be us, since we do not have food. (Breakfast starts May 1). She said she would take this off our reviews.She said she loved her stay with us.

Property had a great view! Unfortunately, I guess they still consider April 19 the winter season, so no breakfast and no coffee in the room, although there is a coffee pot. They did email us after we reserved and told us about no breakfast. Probably should have cancelled and gone to better spot. Live and continue to learn!

We have operating with breakfast only served May to October for 15 years. We inform guests immediately as we receive the reservation. These 3rd party booking sites will not take off the breakfast banner since we serve breakfast at sometime during the season. We post on our Official Website of the breakfast schedule. Your review rating is not fair. If breakfast was the factor for your stay and you would have informed us of this, you may have cancelled. We are sorry that the coffee missing in the room, all rooms do come with coffee, even the kitchenette you reserved. If you would have let front desk know, we would have graciously given you coffee. I believe cost was involved in your decision to book our Inn, since our rates at this time are lower than the chain hotels in town and they do not serve breakfast now or during the regular season. We are glad you enjoyed the beautiful mountain panoramic views, they are no extra charge.

The property has a very pretty view of the surrounding area. The room was nice, clean and spacious with 2closets. A microwave, mini fridge and keurig were in the room. Breakfast is not served during the winter months. It will start up again at the beginning of May.

We were the only guest! Loved our spacious bedroom, the views, the elk that visited every evening, our landlady, and the proximity to the North Yellowstone entrance.

I'm so glad we stayed here! Few people in the area in January at Yellowstone but a lovely time to be here! So glad we werent; staying right in the town of Gardiner though only a ten minute drive. The view here is so lovely; the log cabins warm and cozy; everything you need and want. I could hibernate there all winter…

My daughter and I are traveling to the Pacific Northwest and wanted to stop in Yellowstone. Last minute booking and could not have been more pleased with the Inn. It’s a wonderful place to stay!!

Great getaway spot
We absolutely love this little getaway spot. Janette is super friendly, punctual and accommodating. The rooms are clean and the beds are amazingly comfortable. It's perfectly quiet and quaint. Elk in the front yard and beautiful views of the river and bacon slice.

I’ve never slept so well in a hotel as I did at Yellowstone Basin Inn. I wanted to take the mattress home with me. The breakfast was good with many options. I had blueberry pancakes and a BLT hard boiled egg. Delish!! Bonus was, we got to see elk across the road.

The property is in a unique position with a view of the mountains directly in front. The property is a long way outside the town of Gardiner and there is nowhere to eat nearby. Food in Gardiner is limited unless you are fond of burgers and fries. There is apparently a mobile food truck that delivers to the facility but we did not use it. The room was clean and comfortable.

Unfortunately we did not make it to this Inn due to a bad car wreck on the way to Yellowstone. Our cancellation was 2 d before arriving so we were not able to avoid cancellation fees which are the total amount for the stay to be paid. I contacted the Inn and told the owner we would not be coming, she told me if she was able to reserve our dates with a new customer, we would avoid paying for those dates. I feel like this is above and beyond what was expected. Luckily she was able to re book 3 out of the 4 dates. We are so happy to only have to pay for one night. We totaled our vehicle so our trip was ruined. This made the situation a lot better and will recommend this Inn to anyone needing accommodations in Yellowstone. Thank you for your consideration in our situation and making our day better! The ratings are not based on actual stay but I was unable to reveiw this property without doing them.

Do not recommend for vegetarians (or vegans)
I was interested in this hotel because of the recent renovation and included breakfast. When checking in, I notified the front desk attendant that we had vegetarians and they indicated that there would be vegetarian options for breakfast, including egg, onion and cheese casserole. When my family arrived for breakfast there were only 4 small pieces left. We waited patiently for the next batch to arrive, but it had sausage in it. When I asked the staff person about vegetarian options, she indicated "I made 45 pieces for 33 guests" and left it as that. She said well, there is cereal and sweets. No interest in making sure my family was fed appropriately. I was really surprised by this lack of care or customer service.

The breakfast is complimentary to your stay, it is free. We cannot accommodate special dietary restrictions just upon notification when you arrive at check in. That is not enough notice since food items are purchased in advance. We have been accommodating for other guests with proper notice. Each morning the breakfast changes, so it was just by chance that we offered for the one breakfast you had with us the breakfast that had the egg, onion and cheese. I asked if you had had the eggs, and your husband said yes. And you had brought your own food items into the breakfast.
