"Our family of 8 (4 couples) really enjoyed our stay in Doolin. The Cottage is in a great location and the property manager did communicate with us when we had a problem with cold showers (we didn't know what time that the water heater would be on). Doolin is very walkable and the cottage had a great game selection for our family. No real grocery store in town so pick up groceries before you arrive. We did miss an actual coffee maker, but the French press worked for a few cups. "

The showers were particularly nice - hot and great water pressure - and you appreciate this all the more if you’ve spent the day out in the wind and rain. A short drive to Doolin and the Cliffs. "This place was awesome! Loved the dark and moody vibes. Everyone having their own bathroom was quite lovely. The walkability to the main streets was perfect. Space to park cars was very helpful. The place was awesome for 6 people (definitely could have fit more!) and the host was very quick to respond. Highly recommend!"

"Our family of four was surrounded by lush greenery and Irish hillside in an authentic country cottage. We enjoyed watching the sheep roam the yard everyday. The calmness of the place was amazing. We had everything we needed. We were able to grocery shop a few miles away and cook at the cottage to save money for our adventures. Our children played the board games and hiked around the property. "We stayed for two nights and had a lovely, peaceful time. The food was delicious, prepared by Joyce, and we got a ton of advice and insight about the area and Ireland in general from Aidan. They were very friendly and welcoming, and the house and grounds are gorgeous and steeped in Irish history. If we ever come back to Tuam, we'd happily stay again!"
