"We were perfectly situated to get to Taormina center. Everything in Casa Florio worked well with extras such as a bottle of wine and plenty of Nespresso capsules for the machine! The spiral staircase looks daunting but functions well. Luckily the bathroom is also upstairs with the bedroom so there were no trips down in the dark. "Motta Camastra is a family treasure that has been painstakingly and beautifully restored. The town is very old, population about 800. The residents are very friendly and helpful. "We had a perfect stay at Medea Residence! We really enjoyed having an entire apartment with a fully equipped kitchen. And an extra plus: The pool is heated so even though the weather wasn’t the best, we could still enjoy some pool time. The residence is approximately 10 minutes from the city of Taormina by foot (uphill, so the walk is a little hard). The owners were extraordinarily friendly and welcoming.
