"The property is above the shops on the main street which means if you can't open the blinds as everyone on the street can see straight in the window.
This fairly critical detail is not listed in the information about the property. As the location is Mallacoota and not an innercity hotel, opening the curtains to enjoy the views is pretty important.
We had to move to a different location rather than spend 3 days in a box. On the photos of the apartment, the blinds are closed. Now we know why."

"The apartment is almost new, very clean, well furnished, well equipped and has only two small steps for access. The photos in the Stayz listing are very accurate. Communication with the hosts was excellent, and they allowed us early access on a threatening day. We also really appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine.The only downside was that the hot water was tepid on the 2nd evening when we were washing up, and cold on the final morning. The hosts said it was because they relied on solar...
