Lejligheder i Funchal

"My partner and I really enjoyed staying in Afonso’s apartment for our week in Funchal. Afonso is a very gracious host, he greeted us warmly and showed us the parking spot in the garage under the building. He gave us lots of tips on where to eat etc. the apartment is on the 6th floor penthouse level. There is a small elevator from the garage to the 5th floor, then a short easy staircase. (One time the elevator door must not have been closed downstairs so we had to walk down. No big deal, but...

"I would have given this property 10 + for location and cleanliness. It has an amazing pool, right next to a shopping center, buses to Funchal center and a levada. Alexandro is a guy that manages the apartment and he is super nice and helpful. The only drawback is the noise from the nearby construction site that happens between 9 and 5 pm. It didn’t bother us too much as we were not in the apartment too often during those hours, but if could be an issue for someone else. We would still highly...

"8 years ago my husbond and I stayed in this lovely apartment and returned this year for 14 days. Placed central in the middle of the Lido makes it very easy for walks, shopping and use of busses - but the trafic also provides some noise, especially during the day. Ana and Mario have renovated the apartment lately and limited the noise from the street very much. The bathroom has also been modernized with a shower and the whole apartment is kept just as clean and well aquipt as we remembered. Here...
