"Tracey and Hernan are top notch people, and they offered us a lovely place to relax. An 80 acre farm where you can walk through well maintained trails to see their lovely horses and nature. "Awesome property for a group of friends trying to hangout and have a good time. Owner was super helpful and understanding on various matters. Great beach access, where you can swim to various different islands and do cliff jumping. As you can see in the photo, there was also a water trampoline which the owners allowed us to use. On top of this, the owners provide kayaks and boats you can use to go into the water. Spacious cabins, and we were even granted an additional one complimentary. Overall...

"Basic cottage. We appreciated air conditioning and view. Exterior chairs where all broken, had to wash dishes, dirty floors. BBQ had no grill so took neighbors, was rusty and very dirty. Can not swim as mentioned. Only for fishing. There is a beach at a waking distance but not nice to swim in, small and weeds. Good place to fish if this is your intention. "Owner is very friendly and spent time to make sure everything was ok. The property lacks essentials. Make sure you bring coffee, coffee filters, salt, pepper, soap and shampoo for shower etc. One hand towel in bathroom, and one toilet paper, no towels for showers and none for drying dishes etc. All of this can be fixed with a trip into Sydenham Foodland or some prior planning. The view over the lake from the deck is very nice. We had a great time. "

"Very nice, private site with lots of forested area around. The tent is spaceous and cozy with comfortable, warm beds and all of the amenities. The kitchen gazebo was well stocked for dishes and cooking equipment, as well as minifridge, stove and bbq. Latchable cabinets for food storage as well. The site is very well maintained and clean. The nighttime lighting really creates a relaxing ambiance. Sibo and Gee are lovely hosts. 10/10 would recommend!"

"We had a wonderful week away from home in this bright, cozy and clean cabin supplied with everything we needed. A yellow canoe was available to explore the nooks and crannies along the shoreline of Big Rideau Lake and the resident critters - feathered, furry and aquatic A peaceful and fun stay. "This property is neat and tidy. My family had a great time. A lot of wildlife to see. The solar lights and screened in eating area really made the nights so much better with the fire ban. We could still enjoy the outside and played games. The lake is so clean - we had little fish nibbling our ankles! Too weedy for us for swimming, but we all dipped in! Lounging and looking at the water was really peaceful. No complaints! Super private. Great hosts."
