Located in Treasure Island on the on the San Luis Pass, this home is perfect for a calm and relaxing getaway for up to 8 guests to enjoy! Enjoy local restaurants, bars, fishing opportunities, boat ramps, and fun nearby. Make a scenic trip on Bluewater Highway to Galveston Island ($2 toll bridge), where you can enjoy the waterfront at the historic Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn, the Strand Historic Shopping District or watch the Mardi Gras parade.

For the anglers catch Speckled Trout, Red fish and Flounder off the dock or minutes away from the dock! If you don’t bring a boat, no worries, enjoy the beautiful beach just a short distance away.

IMPORTANT NOTES* The downstairs bedroom, bath and washer/dryer add additional privacy through a separate entrance and cannot be accessed from inside the upstairs quarters, for those guests that would like the extra privacy. There is window air conditioner unit provided for the downstairs quarters. Also, we cannot resume reponsibilty for outages in utilities (internet, water, electricity, etc.) that are out of our control. Rest assured we want the absolute best experience for our guests and that we cannot effect changes to the utility infrastructure in the event of an outtage of infrastructure.

Great stay. Rueben was prompt with communication. Fishing on the canal all night. Beach all day. Could t get the light over the canal to work but the neighbor turned his on for us. Neighbors are friendly too. Caught a PB black drum in the canal and lot of blue crab. Only draw back was one bathroom but we made it work. Outdoor shower is nice to rinse off in. House was clean and comfortable.

Perfect Location!

We loved staying at Reuben's place. It is clean, comfortable and roomy. Communication was great for the many questions I had leading up to our stay. We love the location: right on the canal and close to the beach. We highly recommend.

**Perfect Family Getaway in Freeport**

The house in Freeport was perfect for our family of six plus our dog. We loved fishing in the canal, relaxing in the hammock, and the proximity to the beach. The grill was ideal for our hamburger night, and our cornhole game fit perfectly next to the canal while someone enjoyed the hammock. The layout was great, with a downstairs room (ground level) that included a bathroom and laundry room. Upstairs had two bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining room table, and a living room. The decks were perfect for morning coffee and star gazing at night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

5 Star Hospitality

First of all, La Bahia is exactly what we were looking for: a place to get away, unplug and refresh. Our host, Reuben was outstanding! We pointed out a couple of minor deficiencies, and he not only came within 2 hours (drove from Houston), but he also fixed all issues and brought me a 6 pack of great beer! If you like the beach, fishing and relaxing, La Bahia is right for you! Having the 3rd bedroom as a separate apartment is perfect for teens or seniors.

Cozy small beach home

The home is as shown in pictures. This is a small home with a separate private bedroom downstairs. Good for 2 couples and 2-3 children. We just used the home not the private bedroom. We took our boat and caught some drums by the bridge. Would recommend for families to stay here.

Good place

There was a few things in disrepair like one burner on stove didn’t but nothing major . We came here to fish and was disappointed there was not crab trap for use to use and most of the rod holders was broken . The lower bedroom was very humid . I think the ac in there might should be updated . I think the fishing there could be fantastic it you catch it right . We caught a 30 lb gar which gave us a tall tell . Good place I’ll be back .

Nice house on the canals of san luis pass

Nice house with a boat slip for your boat! Private bedroom with a full bath down stairs separate from the main house. Huge patio upstairs and down for relaxing. Beautiful views from the front and back decks. Owner was fast to reply and the house was very clean! We will be back!

Decent place to stay.

The house is fairly updated inside and had everything we needed for our stay. Nice bathroom upstairs and a nice large dining table to eat or play games. The decks are huge but need an umbrella to be able to tolerate the sun on a hot day. Plastic chairs were screwed down so we could only sit in one spot in full sun. A table and umbrella would make this a perfect spot so hopefully that will be added at some point. The house was clean except for the pillows. When I stripped the bed linens I was pretty grossed out by the old stained pillows. The tiki bar area didn’t have the correct height stools so sitting at the tiki bar didn’t really work well. The beds feel new but are really firm so my wife had trouble sleeping. If you like or need a soft bed you’d need a foam topper on these beds. The AC blows cold and kept the upstairs comfortable. The downstairs room had a window unit that kept the room comfortable enough for sleeping. We only used the living room tv but each room has a tv. The sofas are comfy and roomy.

Beautiful place to stay

Our time gere was very home feeling. We enjoyed the atmosphere around us and was perfect for enjoying morning or evening on the patio area. Kitchen is well set up for cooking home meals. I highly recommend the stay here.

Bday weekend

It was everything and more definitely will be booking again. It was 6 adults and 2 furr babies. The extra living space was perfect for my stepson and his fur baby and me and wife and two daughters up stairs and fur baby. Good fiahing off dock. Pleanty shade and breeze. Had ther memebers come stop by and eat bbq. We atill talkimg about it had a great time and good memories. Good thing is not to crowded on the beaches like surfisde. Littlw more layback family enviorment. But still can have a old good time bbq drinks. And some good muisc. #bestoneyet. Thanks to Reubun and family For sharing there home...stay bless

Reuben was superb.. property was excellent

Weather sucked so not much time outdoor as planned, but because the property was excellent, we were still able to have a great time. Clean, well kept and excellent responses from the manager! Would recommend this easily to anyone who is looking!

La Bahai house

Nice house in good location. Property manager was prompt in communication and to make right an issue. Overall would stay again knowing to be more prepared as it was not as fully stocked as most that I have stayed in before.

Vacation 2022

We had a really nice stay. Beautiful house! Was a little disappointed in beach items. There weren’t any beach towels or chairs. So that was disappointing as we flew in and couldn’t bring anything like that with us, but other than that had about everything we needed. Overall great stay!

Great Place!

My family spent the weekend here and it was an amazing place! The layout of the space and décor was so cool. My older kids are still talking about it. I would definitely recommend. The beaches near by are not crowded like they are in Galveston, which we loved. It is a quiet neighborhood, and very relaxing.

Great vacation spot

This was a great stay. The home was nice and clean. We caught fish and crab right off the dock. 3 different decks to sit on and watch the sunsets. Close to the beach within 2 min drive. Grill on-site worked great but is older. Also this location is a 30 minute drive in both directions from any meaningful grocery store. So make sure to load up on an groceries or supplies you need on the way in so you don’t have to make trips out. The beaches were spectacular. Great access and not crowded at all. This location is perfect for beach goers. Would highly recommend.
