"Getting to and from the lakehouse was a breeze, the location was perfect. Check-In was seamless and so was communcation with the property manager. The house had everything you'd need for the most part, plent of space for everyone to enjoy their time. "A group of us gathered for a bit of a staycation from the Richmond area. We had a ladies night on Friday and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better location!! Saturday we had some other friends join us for food on the water and it was the most relaxing setting for us to reset and connect. "This was our first time in Colonial Beach and we really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend renting a golf cart to get around town. The house is beautiful and in a great location close to everything. The homeowner was also great to work with and we’ll definitely be back soon!"

"This was a great rental, the owners were excellent. They kept you well informed had everthing stocked up towels ,soaps, toilet paper everthing you need. The home was equipped with games ,air hockey ,kayaks and books. Very quiet lake no gas motors peaceful. Would I stay here again? Definitely!!!"

"This cottage was right on the main road in Colonial Beach. It was very clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. The outdoor area was relaxing and had a fire pit and grill. The location was close to everything in town. You could walk to the beach and many stores and restaurants. We love the area and hope to return soon!"

"The owners are the BEST! Once we booked, we had their contact info and any questions we had they answered QUICKLY! The house was perfect for our group. We celebrated our parents 50th wedding Anniversary, and the owners had flowers, cupcakes and a personalized note waiting for us when we arrived. We had perfect weather for the week! "This is a nice, older large house on the lake. It was a good location, right on the lake, and there were enough canoes and floats for the kids to use, with spare life jackets. Our only gripe was that the kitchen was not well-equipped. There were no pots and the pans, knives cookware was really old and unusable. So much so that we went to the local store and bought two pots and a frying pan for our use. One of the upstairs bedrooms did not have any side tables. Where do you put your water glass...

"The property is easy to access and the house is filled with natural light from the huge windows. It’s a wonderful getaway if you want to unplug and enjoy a cozy few days of quiet. We found a waterfront Mexican restaurant nearby and walked to the winery next door. It’s very clean and the host is very responsive if you have any questions. Loved drinking coffee on the deck while enjoying the peaceful pond view. Left relaxed and refreshed!"
