Would book again
Very nice lodge! Stayed at a studio, which was clean and comfortable. I only had one neighbour, but the lodge is not very soundproof, so I could hear their conversations until they went to bed at 10pm (which was ok). Nonetheless, I would book again - very easy parking and comfortable bed.

Fin overnatning, hvis man vil opleve gletcheren.
En enkelt overnatning før vi tog en vandredag omkring Franz Josef glecheren. Fin og rummelig toværelses lejlighed, lidt slidt dog. Super hjælpsomt og serviceminded personale.

Stayed here for two nights in the 1-bedroom motel - there were two rooms, with one bed in the kitchen/living room area, which was nice. Everything was clean, and the kitchen had the basics needed. We didn't use any of the property amenities, but they had bikes and a spa for rental.

We had a large space for our one night stay. Shared kitchen near our room with a large area to sit and enjoy our refreshments. Front desk person was really helpful and made restaurant recommendations.

It’s a little bit out of Franz Josef but there is a footpath if you want to walk into town. Good amount of space in the chalet

Mit eigenem Bad. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Ordnung. Schon deutlich in die Jahre gekommen, dafür nicht so teuer (für dieses Gegend). Late check in war problemlos möglich.

We loved the property, it had amazing views of the glaciers and was very clean. Only downside was we were a group of three tall people and the bunk beds were a bit on the small side, not meant for tall adults. Otherwise fantastic stay.

I chose this place initially for the price. Franz Josef is very expensive and this place is at the cheaper end, though still not cheap compared to other locations. I was a little apprehensive. I’d stayed in holiday parks before, but this place was much more homely. I chose a room with an en suite, happy to pay more not to have to share. In the end everything was fine. Yes, the rooms are small, but for one person for one night, it was fine. I don’t think people come to Franz Josef to sit around their rooms all day. I’d certainly stay there again if I were in the vicinity and can recommend it as an economical option.

The heater didnt seem to be working properly so the man came over quite quickly and it went well after that. We didnt have milk in the fridge like we were told and once again the man bought us some. After that we discovered the light in the kitchen wasnt working couldnt ask him to come back again

Hi Allison,Thank you for your feedback. I understand the heater was sorted once it was brought to our attention and it was a case it had been put on the wrong setting by someone. The milk was an over site and the light was just a bulb blown and once brought to attention this was replaced immediately. You can appreciate with the number of rooms we have we do not go round and check all the bulbs everyday.

A lovely couple of nights at Franz Joseph Top 10. We had a family cabin for 3 of us that was very spacious, had lots of light and was very clean. Communal kitchens and bathrooms were also in excellent condition.

A cabin within a caravan park. Small bathroom, and nowhere in the room to wash dishes, but okay by Holiday Park standards. Thin walls. Guy next door snoring and snorting, so put the classical radio on low as background distraction.
