"Great location for day trips to anywhere in Pembrokeshire, especially Skomer. Overlooking the marina and only 5 minutes walk from a wide selection of good cafes and restaurants, but their own food is good too! Friendly staff.

"Well located in Pembrokeshire for visiting local attractions. The Shepherds Hut has all the facilities needed for a short stay and is best suited for couples. The neighbouring Huntsman pub does excellent beer and basic bar meals. The only thing missing is an electric kettle as boiling water can take a while."

"Obviously a lot of effort has been made by the new owners to create a comfortable and upgraded environment. They are working hard and constantly on what was obviously a worn down building. Looking out from the room the gardens and view is spectacular. The room was large and comfy with great, instant hot water and lovely deep bath. Authentic home cooked curry was delicious."

"I’m always a tad concerned when others call a hotel quirky (what’s one person’s quirky is another person’s odd) but this word is very spy in a very positive way. I’ve never known such a relaxed hotel; the staff (with absolutely no exceptions) went out of their way to engage, chat, explain, facilitate… anything you could want. Shared bathroom and kitchen, which was expected based on price and photos, but not clear in details and another guest hadn’t assumed this and caused a big scene on check in. Wasn’t dirty, but could have been cleaner. Beds were comfy, but sheets smelt damp. Air con didn’t work in our room or another room that was empty. Free parking. Walking distance of the town centre which has takeaways. Kinda average stage. But cheapest around"
