Check in time was supposed to be 3:00pm, we arrived at 5:00pm yet are room still wasn’t ready, the front desk clerk kept telling us how they’re housekeeping is short staffed. (Not our problem) He told us that it would be ready by 5:30, that’s two and half hours after their 3:00pm check in time. He offered...

"This is my second stay at Art and Lodging South Bend. It is five stars across the board. Conveniently located near downtown. Convenient to Mishawaka and the Lake Michigan beach resort towns. The home has tons of character, is well maintained, clean, and beautiful. The beds are great. There’s nothing not to like."

The proprietor generously shared her time talking about the history, the community, etc. Highly recommend for those who enjoy indulging in history and beauty during their stay."

"The rooms were sufficient, nothing spectacular but they got the job done. The front desk answered all the questions we had, Check in and check out were easy. The buffet breakfast had hot eggs, potatoes, sausage, pancake maker, cereals, some type of sweet roll, oatmeal, juices, and coffee. It was a great location for the golf courses we were playing and restaurants we wanted to try."
