"I found a great spot to hang out in Puerto Viejo, and it's super close to all the action. The staff there was fantastic, always friendly and helpful, making the stay even better. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, which is always a huge plus in my book. Plus, the pool was the perfect place to chill out and unwind after a day of exploring.

Literally, EVERYTHING was great.
We highly recommend this place. Take the little plane to the Limon airport and just have them set up your transportation. They'll have someone waiting for you. We had zero problems. Everything went as smooth as possible because of the Awa staff! We will return to the Caribbean coast of Punta Cana and most definitely stay at the Awa Beach Hotel again! I'd give them 10 stars...
"I had a nice and relaxing stay at El Nido. If you want to be close to Puerto Viejo and the nightlife (shopping, restaurants, bars) but you also want a peacefull stay this is the place to go. It was about a 10min drive from Puerto Viejo and easy to go to by taxi or tuk tuk. At day time it is also a very nice ride on bicycle that makes it easy to go to all of the nearby beaches.
The owners are helpfull with a arranging tours. "
"Det her hotel er fantastisk! Hotellet er gemt inde i junglen, hvor de har lavet stier og en skøn junglepool. Der er dovendyr og andre dyr rundt omkring. På den anden side af vejen ligger deres restaurant, den skønne strand samt en pool med udsigt over vandet. Så mens man spiser morgenmad kan man se tukaner, dovendyr, pelikaner osv.
Det er meget hjælpsome og venlige medarbejdere.

Only small thing we missed was a bed light, instead of lamps in the ceiling, so a minor thing :)"

"This was a good pic. One of the few hostels in front of the beach at Playa Cocles. Walking distance to public beaches, restaurants and stores. The staff was friendly. Food was somewhat pricey, though. However, the room was clean and a good value for what we paid for."

"Very nice stay. We had a family room just across the steet of the beautiful beach. The hotel is in very nice quiet surroundings with a lot of birds, butterflyes, monkeys and sloths. The staff is always very friendly and heldful. In total a stay worth to remember. "
